  1. Oops and Doh! my bad will you forgive this dumb furry alien from far far far away.
  2. Thank you Gary, let see lyrics only come to me randomly a bit like the music.
  3. Lyrics nice a clear content not so nice to hear.
  4. Nice production job as always @Lynn, we do live in troubling times with much misleading information being distributed by people who should know better. I like this easy on the ears, even if the lyrics are hard to hear.
  5. Thanks Lynn, nice to know you survived. Lyrics/vocals are not something that occur to me very often, inspiration is normally a word or a short sentence that I can expand into a tune. Something has happened over the last two and I am not sure what that is.
  6. Who knows, anything is likely thanks for the listen and kind words Tom.
  7. Eclectic, experimental, good mix which worked here, thanks for sharing.
  8. Furry paw tapping for the off, always a good sign, I suspect this album is going to be one that will sound good on a road trip. A pleasure to listen to as ever @batsbrew
  9. Not bad Bjorn, there is lots of excellent advise given above, you did a good job though on this.
  10. Nice Norwegian surf tune, I suspect when those north Atlantic rollers come in you could get quite a a surf up.
  11. Well I suppose someone has to use garage band nice groove mix works well here, thanks for sharing.
  12. Thank you Douglas, you are most kind your time and ears are appreciated.
  13. @David Sprouse You are most kind thank you for listening and commenting.
  14. That would explain the Haas effect making the vocals sound forward.
  15. Not my thing, but I do suspect that your Vocal is out of phase or you are using a widen FX on them, which for me here on the Adam's results in the vocal sounding almost three feet in front of the monitors whilst everything else is sort of glued in the middle. You have obviously spent some time on the lyrics which work well with the tune. Thanks for sharing.

Nice driving groove track here Nigel, mix works well here. nice job all round.
  17. Nice driving groove at @Hidden Symmetry, drums sound OK but I think I understand why you might want to use something else, what did you use? Horns are a nice touch, mix sounds dense but it works well here.
  18. Thanks Tom, you are most kind, glad you enjoyed my little song, for your information the following synths were used. Arturia's CS-80 V and DX 7V in parallel in Analogue Lab 4. Korg's Wavestation Version 2 and M1 Version 2, the recent updates to these are great, re-sizeable GUI, exposed CC values for ease of Automation. Arturia's Mini V on bass duties. Along with Superior Drummer 3 Rock Warehouse Tight Rock kit tweaked a little. Thank you again.
  19. Floating on the Wind Of Dreams what would we see? Another little one 3':25" thanks for listing again this carries a possible health warning Finalised to -14.1 LUFS On The Wind Of Dreams Remixed Finalised to -16.9 LUFS
  20. One of the things to remember with their early stuff much was done on 4 track and intended for a MONO pressing. When they started doing Stereo pressings they had to get inventive with the panning, so drums would be one side with possibly the bass and backing vocal and then lead and other guitars would off to the right. They did a lot of bouncing down. If you get the chance to hear Sargent Peppers in its Mono format it does sound quite different to the Stereo version on a number of Songs.
  21. @batsbrew You are welcom,e because your guitar playing is slick, smooth, precise and then slip in a sweet "greasy" shred in the middle of it all. ?
  22. Works @Douglas Kirby like Tom suggest a lift in the chorus would put some fairy dust but it works as is.
  23. Super slick and greasy guitar on this @batsbrew, nice one. One tiny little nitpick there is something about that snare sound that just did not quite gel for me, other than that as one would expect from a master such as yourself.
  24. Hi Steve sounds like you did it justice as I said elsewhere always a difficult band to cover. Well worth a
