I captured a few profiles with TOneX to then compare to real amp captures using the same pedal. It was a fun experiment but the best NA stuff I came up with didn't have the same fun factor as the best real captures. In a world without Tonex, it was good enough to use. Now the plugins likely won't get launched with any frequency. I do think there is a market for it though if the price remains reasonable on sale. Not everyone will want to live in snapshot world.
