I've previously been put off by the UI looking dated to my eyes but I just noticed this synth has 6000 presets which is pretty incredible, and I had been considering buying DiscoDSP Discovery Pro due to it offering 5000 presets... TheSteven Posted April 6, 2022 Share Posted April 6, 2022 (edited) Try the demohttps://www.robpapen.com/Predator-3-demo.html and make sure you like the synth. 6,000 presets mean nothing if you don't like the texture of its sound or if it has problems on your system. I'm not saying there's anything wrong or lacking in Papen's synth or his presets. Indeed Albino, one of his old endeavors (well 1/2 his), is still one of my favorites. But presets counts only mean something if the selection is well curated as it's not hard for a programmer to whip up a random preset generator and create thousands of presets.
