Well, I had an impression Dirk mentioned they would decrease also nominal prices for their plugins in their offer. Did anything changed in fact? Nothing what I was monitoring seemed to be at lower price than before... Interesting if it is possible to combine 25$ vouchers from few persons ? :) Having more than 1 could give more affordable price for some of their current deals.
  2. Yep, they told us true when promised some time ago to shock us with their new offers... I wonder if they will find a single person interested in 1 amp sim intro price $129 in 2019... For VIP they are more generous and it is $99 but well... No thanks... Overloud Mark Studio 2 is usually priced at 109 EUR with VAT and 6 bass amps
  3. MAutoDynamicEq is really great. If you have no Pro-Q you will especially appreciate its power. MAutoAlign and MCompare also are very useful. I would bet rest of those list you could find nice as well Everything depends on if you have other things that are doing the same. If not you will be happy If yes and alternatives are your go-to you can reconsider it however.

So it was you Contacted with them to buy one but they answered a guy just bought last two
  5. Damn Izotope! They always find a way to tempt when I have already decided to wait for another versions... 😞 Probably their AI included in plugins evolved and now is also helping them in sales 😵

I have no idea what is this thing but its GUI... It is a must have for a 11-years old girls
  7. I wonder if it is co-related with occasionally high CPU peaks when using ST4. I have such issue , when click is heard also 1 of CPU cores is overloaded.
  8. Cheap is often an illusion I believe it depends on type of workflow you are preferring. Some/(many?) guys after finishing their job for a client bouncing all tracks to archive them as set of stems not depended on any particular plugin. After all if they are forced to remix something after longer time they could use other plugins for the same purpose. How often after finishing pay job and getting money for it there is an order to do it again? But I personally cannot vote for the most efficient or practical approach as I am not making money by music. So I can only refer to opinion of pro experienced people. However if one has many jobs it seems quite logical not keeping forever every project in open state, Done job to backup and freeing space for next project and so on I see. Interesting how PA offer depends on amount of owned plugins.
  9. Sergio, it is in fact great offer, especially if you have not a lot of PA plugins already owned which you would like to use and making money by music (it could earn by itself). Also no dongle needed. And yeah... I believe any of us waste more money that 17$ every month for things we don't need
  10. Ha, long bug fix list, great hard work Checked on a few projects and also working for me. Hope they will continue removing bugs from CbB as it is still full of them and very crashy (so save is for me one of the most used action).
  11. Don't buy comp which will do everything by itself instead of you It could stop you from buying more compressors
  12. Yep, additional dilemma for GAS affected... Great deal for plugins or vacation? 😭
  13. Not quite in real. Removing c:\program files (x86)\Steinberg/Vstplugin and pressing save do nothing as it is re-added automatically again. Factory defined cannot be changed at all (so it scans all those paths). I tricked it a little settings N4 repo, AAX preset path and x86 (which is turned off so no reason even to display it grayed) to RAM disk, so after reboot it is discarded if used but well... Maybe I should link such all hardcoded paths to RAMdrive not to be forced clean them again and again after work of different installers... I would prefer plugins provided as just compressed vst in zip files. I would need manually uncompress it to selected dir and that's it, no cleaning after so time saved To be fair while aquarius is messy and not great about showing status of installed/not installed plugins it is not so bad comparing to some programs which are not asking about anything, not allowing to set anything, just putting everything everywhere... Happy to hear I ma not the only grouch True. But otherwise I wouldn't buy it. I don't like annoying things as all those little things sum up to big time waste and frustration. I have massive amount of plugins so you could imagine. Thank you for info about coming update. Nice to know Who knows maybe they will be inspired when improving their code and also include remake for aquarius to adjust to user's environment, not adjust user's environment to aquarius...
  14. Heavy cpu consumers but nice plugs. I demoed and took Navy which is giving different flavor than other Nevish variations I had. Like it But... their web pages are total mess. How many 'more' I need to click to get to the point? And if going to their 'marketplace' where all price are shown no way to read about plugins... Eh... Aquarius is also messy thing. It seems not even fully aware if plugin is already installed. And another company assuming we are idiots and as idiots we all have pro tools and Cubase or we are not able to know if we have them ... Factory defined paths to check which cannot be modified. User It is like with music. The most important thing is performance - sure - but... If tune has some cracks and pops it is annoying very much and could spoil whole impression... Like here that manufacturer is trying to do everything right to give us top quality at any element... Not just produce great sounding plugins so whatever about anything else... Especially it is easy to create good organized pages and plugin installer. I don't get it why so many manufacturers are so careless about installers or plugin managers. I stopped considering anything from McDSP after noticing it every time is thrashing my disk with that kind of mindless installation everything everywhere. Or maybe users which don't own Cubase or ProTools should have a process in background which is deleting all that created .../Steinberg/... paths and deleting AAX things.. So annoying... Probably I need to write a dead metal song about it to get rid of frustration... With chorus 'don't trash my disk, I will need it'.
  15. You can like them even more if you use external 'premium' IRs like from Celestion for instance or Wall of Sound which can let you do much more. It is more efficient to buy 2notes format version of Celestion as it is ways easier to use (you play with gui, not change IRs over dirs)
  16. Yup it is nice decision very customer friendly. I tested some plugs long ago and didn't remember too much so when deciding again I were forced to go little blind.
  17. You surprised me almost as PA with their new offers
  18. Many thanks ! It is excellent news While I am not keyboard player it is zylion times easier for my use old fashion keyboard than 'modern approach to keyboard'

Yup, I like Melda's approach as well. To be honest possibility to keep it on own USB stick against ilok dongle isn't very beneficial for me Still something that can be missed But maybe I am saying it because never get any issues with ilok dongle (3rd year of using) on any of my OSes. In broader context you are right but I always consider things from my own perspective as we all have little different needs (or maybe should I say my wallet perspective is quite strong It always depends on what we are doing, how often and if it is job (so plugin can 'earn' money) or hobby. What attracted me to it (between other reasons) was I could only subscribe just 1 month, and during it have full versions of all plugs, do what I need and just stop for few months. Of course I am far from trying to convince anybody to subscriptions. We all have our own paths for work, feel secure etc. Just saying in some cases it is benefit for subscriber. Even waiting for all possible Slate sales to buy all I want is out of my range. Yes, after many years when my money spent equal total sum I still have nothing but I have all at once when started, with all updates, new plugs. I can use them It could be kind of mindset like to own a car or just rent it etc. And true, Zo is right about European people. We like own. Home. Cars. Plugins. But I live in not big country, not often travel abroad so to be honest I like very much idea not to have own car but just call it on demand. Preferably autonomous one But I am still conservative about home I would never feel save and secure if I had not have my own So I believe I understand both sides.

Unfortunately, the problem is even you bought something for ever it could stop to work at some point because of authorization system or abandoning by developer or even poor support You also often need to pay for upgrades as without active support plugin could stop after some OS update (you can be forced to OS update because of some reason). So even if software is not a material thing still you can lose it. This is bright side of subscription. You do not invest whole price and have all updates granted. Also if you started to like other things you just could change provider. Similar like for instance HBO for Netflix for some months and then back etc... But it is always kind of calculation. Do I really need all plugins from provider? They of course in their marketing assume yes. So they will prove how much you can 'save'. In some cases it can be truth. In my case Slate subscription is such a case. I would never afford to but them but love them all, But of course from user point of view calculations are not so bright if he would consider more subscriptions... Yup, I understand the reality as well, but some authorization systems can be painful. I lost few plugs I got because of it. It was needed to send email after almost every bigger OS update and get generated code related to machine and OS. I agree. Unification of this is much better than fighting against hundreds different systems.

They raised excitement and hopes so high and then... bum... I have seen offers and well... Seem I will not even get Diezel thing... But I have tons of amp sims, impulses so why should I go for 99$+VAT for single amp sim? But we still have 29$ revolution over the world so we will see in few months what happens in PA...
