  1. Hm? I am still see el Rey with 59EUR price (and I guess with possibility further decreasing with account voucher). "FIT FOR A KING SPECIAL CRAZY PRICING €59 (reg. €269) 78% OFF" http://www.acustica-audio.com/store/products/elrey
  2. Ha, I tested Diezel Hebert sim and things are much easier for me now... Don't need that thing as few Diezelish O RIGs I have I like much better. So I can just wait for another lottery setup probably at the end of incoming week
  3. Yep, thanks I saw it. I know it is kind of gamble however from time to time there is optimal setup from lottery for our current stuff. It is always nice feeling to use voucher to grab something we would really like to have. I was excited the purple beast few months ago but currently my favorites little changed. But the true is gamble is not good activity for impatient people The 'funny' part I was on December $9 away from earning $50 voucher for next year so 'of course' I picked the opportunity gladly... I could also keep not crossing the threshold to have still $25 voucher. I would see if it was good decision in few next months... Everything depends on the lottery
  4. So at least they started to involve people with 50&75 vouchers as now we have Herbert & mc77 both for $50... Not bad pair... If I only knew what they planned next not to grab these and miss something I would be interested even more...
  5. Yep... Especially single deals are mainly useless for those with vouchers 50&75 If they would put more deals it could give a possibility to combine them and get interesting deals... With single deal and limits set as they are voucher is useless... Hope maybe at the end of the month they will put more deals at once or deals addressed for other voucher owners... Otherwise it will go into vain... and it would mean it was better to watch how not to cross 300$ threshold when buying PA plugins to be still with 25$ voucher what means it would be better to buy less at PA shop... Well... no more comments needed...
  6. Yup, Slate TH-U edition has Ownhammer's IRs and they sound really great. While I cannot compare them directly I have many RIGs and enjoy their sound as well. Anyway every RIG bundle is not only just TH-U preset with related RIG but there are lots of them alone which can be used for tonal searching.
  7. Unfortunately they ignored suggestion to prepare some bundles to introduce nice deals for those who would like to have more RIGs... Well even with their promos buying every single RIG I could like is really not affordable for me... Are they really think many people will buy all their RIGs without any group buy preferences? RIGs can be run only with TH-U engines so quite closed market...
  8. Hm, feel guilty here... I have a constant internal fight between different interpretations of my buying some type of effect in different interpretations... One thing is am I really able to get sound of new thing which is fascinating me just using old things I already have? If so how much time it would cost... I tried to use EQ match to simulate AA Ruby EQ to save as I liked very much and it costed a little. But I failed. After different tools it was still not the same. Maybe I gave up too fast? Maybe it was because lacking some skills in hearing. Anyway after fights with different tools I suddenly realized even getting close to original Ruby in my context was still just a drop in sea... As I would need repeat the process for every combination of knobs... So I bought it. No only because I lost faith in reaching goal but just to save huge amount of time (you could of course call me lazy). And to be honest no regrets. I just paid for their hard work to make plugin sounding nice removing additional effort from me to reach what I want not to spend too much time on engineering but more focus on music itself. I thing it could be quit similar story with buying another reverbs. Of course who could trust in words of GAS infected zombie But what is our real goal? What are we trying to achieve? Is it really always the same goal for everyone? I am not pro so most probably my focuses and goals are very different from those of pros, and also from those of very good skilled but not caring so much about finishing gig fast and moving to the next as having other option to get money for their work...
  9. Exactly so they will earn nothing keeping such policy on that already sold license. Lowering costs to anything reasonable would give them additional income on the same license. So they should be happy because counting on persons who are looking better prices would buy new license is not good plan I believe. They just stop spreading plugins between more users...
  10. Yep, besides of high price another thing is the bundle looks kind of artificially created (for collectors only) as Rule Tec Heritage Pro seems to have everything...
  11. The thing is after resizing I am not able to use volume fader, application seems not to be aware of resolution what is always very lame'ish... yep. I am fan of anything what once and for all removes things like perceptible latency, changing buffers for different tasks what is annoying. Despite I am using also Slate's stuff and he is preacher no external DSP needed everything can be done on the same machine LUNA is doing both, and seems to have great workflow. This is why raised my attention. But well I like also observe what is SpaceX doing but of course I will never fly to Moon or Mars Just I am curious type of animal Yep, neither for me.
  12. Yes, I am aware of this but it is obvious because 3rd party plugs don't know anything about existence of external DSPs and have no idea how to communicate to them so how they could be working? yep, a lots of it for sure but well, they are need to sell to refund all investments in LUNA so I understand it and automatically filtering content in my brain when watching especially sounding like we were in church Yep, but thing is about to get rid of latency completely in work when recording even when simultaneously recording tracks changing its sound by applying plugins, playing VSTi (!), sending lots of cues and having real time experience for all musicians. At mixing stage we don't care a lot about latency but recording session is different animal, Happy to hear it As I cannot afford for 'dongle' to LUNA And already did plenty of investments in more open environment. To be honest it doesn't sound like a crap on their presentation. But anyway true and also Sonar Pro had also ProCh with 3 console emulations and tape. This is part when I am getting sad as I really would like to so how ProCH will grow up and lots of plugins manufacturers support it. Unfortunately there are only a few 3rd party plugins for it. Hm, I will for sure but mainly because it is out my range few times and already have some great and some decent interfaces, 2 great DAWs and bazylion of plugins so it would be madness to go there losing probably unbelievable amount of money invested. But anyway, don't yell at me please I believe such approach as LUNA is a future for recording systems but there are also other option on market with dedicated external DSPs or CPUs to get rid of latency problems so it would be interesting see competition on this ground. Just buying crisps and watching
  13. Yep, Apollo is kind of dongle here And only for those of Apollos which have thunderbolt. However in cons is LUNA is free for all owners of TB Apollos. But to be fair, to work in 'latency free ' system there is obvious technical requirement of existing of DSPs outside PC/Mac to move load there and also not to waste time for transmitting IO <-> PC/Mac. However I believe at some point they will offer Windows version as well. I have watched many interviews and few transmissions from them and they were very careful about future LUNA for Windows. They just said they were aware many users would be interested in Windows version.
  14. Not quite, Zo. MB has no any integration at drivers level, and is not able to use dedicated chipsets to move load to make work 'latency free'. It is just DAW with integrated console emu in it and workflow oriented on console operations (this is similarity to LUNA). LUNA integrated all layers so it is not quite just DAW. In fact, I tried Mixbuss 32C when it was strongly discounted. Unfortunately it had terrible bugs (or features?) which rejected me instantly. First it was unreadable with very small letters at labels, so I set bigger zoom and then in many/most context I was unable to scroll down to reach sliders (unbelievable, first time I see something like this). Also I don't like labels for EQ like 45%... It sounded nice I must admit but I don't like to fight against program to do anything. Still have 2 powefull DAWs and some console emulations including Harrison console
  15. Yep, blackhole is really excellent. Something type of must-have. Well, I liked few things in their video Especially ribbon thing is fascinating I am still fighting against myself should I grab demo. But my last statistics are very bad. Almost whatever I grabbed to demo I bought Even quite a lot of Acustica although they were not so close to $29 threshold Fortunately during BF they went really low with prices (in the meaning of Acustica's prices world).
  16. Overloud SpringAge, PSP SpringBox, PSP Nexcellence and all of them I like
  17. Interesting thing but I think they need to be more humble if expect sell successes... And start with 29$ at intro for instance (like Nembrini do) Anyway seems we have week of new reverbs...
  18. Yep, it is really nice spring reverb. I am trying desperately find any reason not to buy (having already 3 different springs) but problem is for the price is kind of non-brainer, unfortunately I am not happy too many great plugs are released every month and even with non-brainer prices because my salaries are not growing fast enough I am at the wall of constant choices what to skip what cost time (which is the biggest possible value as we know
  19. LUNA is obviously only (at least now) for Macs & UA TB environment but what I like about it very much is its workflow oriented approach. At least what I saw watching NAMM UA transmissions. Something still lacking in many tasks in CbB. I believe (call me workflow fanatic if you wish) any even single additional click or key press is too much. And it's very nice (I always dreamed about it) there is integration all soft levels in just one app. No separate app for talking to drivers, setting buffers etc... Just 1 single app which is taking care about everything. Hard to reach it by DAW manufactures which are not making hardware. And of course their main advantage real-time-ish work 'without' latency. Their absolutely strongest point. They stopped to try convince (at least with LUNA) their plugins are best emulation in every their implementation (what I ma not so sure to be honest - @cclarry, don't kill me, at least not before humans reach Mars They focused at latency free recording/mixing even with heavily loaded slots (however no miracles it needs more Apollo's chips with additional plugins/extentions) Anyway their advertise with LUNA tape & console emu provided - what as we know Sonar did years ago Although their extensions - of course - because of integration with hardware are giving different experience and quality... But we could be proud as Cakewalk team provided it to us (at cost of CPU and more rough estimations) so long ago with their ProC But still I believe Skylight is the top The main concept of this GUI is brilliant. Just maybe a little polishing in places where workflow is not optimal... For some reason Sonicscoop missed CbB in their last DAW review even although CbB is free and its power is higher than one of some of reviewed DAWs... It is really unfair... I believe CbB still has potential to be at very top about Windows DAWs and maybe force some journalists not to underestimate it constantly... I hope our beloved devels this year remove the biggest weakness (imho) of CbB which is kind of unacceptable level of crashiness especially when working in low memory condition situations (using many demanding VST/VSTi easily leads to it). While in recording and simple mixing cases it works for me acceptable bigger production/creative/fun projects are just killing with constant crashing... and forcing to go to S1 which doesn't not have Skylight so I am not happy because of it... Little whining at the morning, sorry, still dreaming and hoping CbB will be the one and only on Windows if asking anybody about DAW

    Relab NAMM Sale

We could organize group buy to get 1 shared license for all (as we are often buying and not using all plugins we have anyway) and then pass it from person to person every week to next person
  21. It would be nice of them. Keeping crossed fingers for you Anyway they could even if separate priced did some integration to be able for instance after getting both to have possibility easily switch from one version to another... I am overwhelming by amount Waves plugins because of their all variations as mono, stereo, and another one mono/stereo, with SC, without SC. I love approach found in some plugs like COMP670 or Scheps Omni for switching compressors... Very cool and convenient
  22. Seems it will be separate plugin with separate price probably with discount ($99?) for owners of old thing What is nice about Overloud COMP670 they gave 3 flavors in the same plugin... I am not really big fan of approach where different hardware implementation of the same gear is implemented in different plugin. One thing it will be pricey (how many very different SH exist? and the second one but not the less important one it removes from us great workflow possibility just to switch to different variation with the same knobs/sliders position...
  23. Ha, but whole bundle is on the sale for $29.99 https://www.nembriniaudio.com/products/echobandit-bundle-analog-tape-echo-delay Quite tempting price despite I promised myself not to have more than few things of the same type
  24. I wish to got the survey too I am seeing many things to improve there
  25. For a while I was confused and thought it was something new added. Those guys are presenting really strange approach... That Demon thing seems to be available already in 2014... https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=224&v=WhOkbcvDNyc I have little concern if their whole plan is only to try to advertise old things to sell not thinking about improvements . 😕 But maybe they just trying to grab some funds for developing? 🙄 Anyway they would need to work harder about letting people to know about the product and plans for its development. Improving their pages and shop would not hurt either. It is possible to do things which have no sense and with many items in cart some bugs are triggering.
