  1. I should've mentioned, I have un- and re-installed all AAS plugins prior to reporting this issue. No cigar. I believe, you installed the latest version, too. If not, please let me know, I'll try older versions.
  2. Hi, I just checked AAS guitars in CbB, Reaper and SOP. They open and play fine in both Reaper and SOP, but there is no GUI nor sound in CbB. It happens only with AAS Strum GS-2 and Session and only in Cakewalk. Anyone encountered this already? I run W8.1x64 on Intel i7 Kaby Lake, RAM 16GB. UPD. There is also a severe memory leak, when GS-2 is loaded within Cakewalk.
  3. Looking at pan/stage/3D plugins, particularly https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/schoeps_mono_upmix.html https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/fiedler_audio_stage.html https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/dearvr_music.html Some advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.
  4. One trick pony kind of amp, but if it's good enough for Michael Lee Firkins, it's a must have.
  5. The installer program wants me to delete the previous version. I'm not willing to sacrifice the working setup for a version that requires going through the hoops of deleting an ilok product.
  6. No way! Not abandonware any more?
  7. Nice sounding library for sure! Good to know it runs in ST4 CS as well.
  8. Why would you want an active microwave transceiver mounted on your head? Why would anyone want this?
  9. Loved the demos of this plugin. Fender amp sim this good is a must have. Oh, why am I a guitar player?
  10. This demo is quite a bit better!
  11. I should've stated that this is my personal opinion expressing my personal impression and should be taken with a grain of salt. Sorry for not being considerate. That being said, I'm not talking about fidelity of the sound source, but rather the character of tone. Back in the day I had been using early COSM based BOSS m-fx and, occasionally, first gen Zoom digital FX. They weren't great back then but kind of useable. I can recognize that character easily. Contemporary m-fx have come a long way since then, that's why I think it's not cool to not match modern standards. YMMV.
  12. THE most horrible sound demo for 2020. Reminds me of what digital products sounded like in the 90s-early 00s. No wonder Code series of amps was a disaster.
  13. I use NF plugs occasionally. They make things sound very "musical", so to say. Not on par with the newest offerings from top developers, but still hold their own fairly well.
  14. Vadim Taranov amp sims were previously available only in 32-bit. Now there are 64 bit versions. Gotta give 'em a try. Also, there is a take on Friedman, definitely worth checking out.
  15. If there'll be a group buy this year, it might as well be centered around ST4/Syntronik libraries. I prefer not to invest my money into the company's business, unless I'm absolutely confident what I'll get for this.
  16. The man went all the way from selling BSIAB clones to the software plugins. How cool is that! Kudos to Brian!
  17. I assume you use auto gain input and output adjustment knobs to set your levels right. There is also a setting for you pickup output. If you set it correctly, you'll get the most natural responce from this amp sim. For reference on pickup output voltage use DiMarzio pickup catalog.
  18. MEGA Bundle - Forever License would be sweet...
  19. I'm not in the mood for buying software products these days, but this comp is worth $15 for sure.
  20. They are very good, if you are OK with the baked-in cab/mic setup.
  21. I'm not into metal head-banging thing, maybe that's why GR5 version of this amp is still the best for me. Even though demos of this plugin remind me of the raw, brutal roar of the 5150 head. Never liked it anyway.
