  1. Thanks! Yes to my surprise is was fairly 'clean' (as far as it can be when not using headphones). I think the way I held the mic helped. But when compressing there was some really audible noise, so I had to be careful in processing. Luckily it's the same as the music that is already playing so it kinda blends in. When I didn't use the mic I just gated the signal.
  2. Ok first of all, I can't hold a tune if my life depended on it, so this is with every Autotune, Melodyne, Waves Tune Crispy Tune etc. help known to man. Seriously, I used all of it. But man it was fun to do. The rest is my usual synth heavy sound which I love. Lots of overdrive and distortion but with clear undertones. Oh and my camera app seems to suddenly not play nice and flicker a bit. Haven't found a way around that (other camera apps besides the native Pixel one don't let me do the 0.7x zoom, so it anybody knows one that does, let me know!).
  3. Thanks! I'll have the new one up in a couple of minutes.
  4. One of the best in its genre.
  5. Thanks! I'm still scratching the surface in my mind. But doing it every week means learning something every week.
  6. When it comes to EDM samples and presets, PML is one the best.

  8. It sounds ok-ish. In contrast, one of the best beatmakers out there right now, Tamuz, has a new kit out: THICC Vol. 2. It contains 120 breaks (instead of 50), 120 one shots (instead of 0), 100 melodic one shots (instead of 0) and 4 compositions with stems you can sample and cut yourself (instead of 0, but the multitracks are coming in a couple of months). Cost? normally $29,99 but with code BREAKOFF50 you get 50% off. That's about 10% the cost of the Elysia pack and I'd say quadruple the value, quantity and quality wise. This is insane. Who told them dry drumloops are worth their MB size in gold? https://hiphopdrumsamples.com/products/tamuz-thicc-vol-2-drum-breaks?_pos=19&_sid=b2f5bd54e&_ss=r&variant=40647811366978
  9. Thanks! And thank you for the comment. I really liked this one, it was a joy to perform. Next week I will be doing something really really really scary, live singing (with my own non-vocoder voice) 😱
  10. Got the hat, dimmed the lights, made a little show (thumbnail is with the light on, obviously). Besides all that, I reall really like this droning sustained distorted sound. Enjoy!
  11. I got Drones - High Intensity Drones for €11.
  12. Great Youtube channel. Some real quality content.
  13. Mine is showing at €303 and I own the Contempary Drama Toolkit. I'm not yet convinced I really need this bundle. Still a lot of money which I would rather put towards the Hologram Microcosm.
  14. X-delay is one of my favorites.
  15. Yeah that sucks. Between deals like this and my christmas bonus, these are dangerous times.
  16. Lumina is on my wishlist for years now, but still too expensive for what I would use it for.
  17. That's basically my logic when it comes to my own vocals 😅. I can't hold a note if my life depended on it. There is no Melodyne or Autotune powerful enough to fix me. You'd need some Bladerunner 2049 AI CPU power to force me in tune. So I basically vocode everything I 'sing'.
  18. I've only used Distrokid and it's been hassle free. Mind you, I have no experience with payouts (I suck 😝). I tried to release something with Soundcloud Distribution and I couldn't even do it because you can't seem to release something as a first release for an artist. I submitted a ticket and never got a response. I'm still looking for that perfect one which also lets me release on Beatport.
  19. So I gave ChatGPT the prompt to create some random words which could be said in a techno track by someone like Charlotte de Witte. First it came up with some phrases consisting of 2 words, like "pulsating bass" or "futuristic resonance". Than I gave the prompt to shorten it to one word phrases and it came up with "bassline, echoes, pulsation, resonance, techno, transcendence". Good enough. Recorded them, drowned it in reverb. Added a bit of Izotope Vocalsynth 2 which wasn't authorized all of the sudden. So Im resetting passwords and trying all sorts of things but it seems I'm locked out of my Izotope AND Native Instruments account and I can't get in. Their system seems broken. Anyway, enjoy!
  20. An 8 bit emulation of some sorts. Sounds rather good. Keep in mind, you have top install their hub to install this one. https://cradle.app/product/state-machine-bitflip/
  21. I haven't been able to update NA for quite a while now. Will this be the day? Stay tuned!
  22. Yes! That's the one. The thing that caught my eye in the EULA is: I'm not shure about that last line. What do they mean with not claiming trademark rights in derivative works? Would that mean if you slightly alter the samples and try to sell them as your own (understandable), or are they being deliberately broad and could they say that any use is a derivative work?
