  1. Thanks Larry! Some decent offers in my account. Just have to decide what to add to my existing Pro-Q 3 🤔
  2. I'm also trying to sit this one out as I have all that I need (yup, heard that one before). However, did I see Axe I/O mentioned somewhere? What's the score on that? I don't see any offers on Axe I/O so I guess it would have to be purchased at full price to get in on the GB? Can anyone confirm? Thanks
  3. Thanks Larry! I have recently sold off all of my Samplitube Pro X3 Suite parts which I bought when Cakewalk went under. I sold it in parts including SF Pro 11 and ended up slightly in profit so cannot complain! However I couldn't resist this deal to get SF Pro 12. I will definitely get Vegas 16 too when that's in an HB deal even though I am finding DaVinci Resolve to be a great replacement (v 16 is now out of beta and 16.1 beta has just been released).
  4. @filoJust tried the VST2 and 3 versions of both TH-U and TH-3 in CbB without any such problems. Are you running the latest versions? TH-U v1.0.20 TH-3 v3.4.9
  5. Thanks Larry! Some cool drum loops in there... FAME studios includes Mustang Sally, Midnight Hour, Mercy Mercy, Just a Little Bit and quite a few others. Hitsville includes Outta Sight, Tears of a Clown, Grapevine, My Girl etc. Will check out some of the others when I get a moment.
  6. How about under Section 22, Sub-Section "Simulations", patch "Funk Wah Strat"? Not a synth I know but it sounds similar to my ears.
  7. Closest I have found so far is in Section 17 Layers "DX & B3 Organ mw.prog" about 8 patches down from the top and also the two patches following that one. I am assuming that the "wah" was automated within the patch rather than achieved using the mod wheel (such as in section 18 Splits "Pad and Comp wah") .
  8. Hey Mesh, I usually buy the ADSR Octosale (in recent years anyway) as it's such good value and as you say even the MIDI files usually have something worth re-using in them. I will just check to make sure that I don't already own the packs on offer this year though. I have never actually used Riffendium after thinking I would which is either just me, or maybe down to the UI and tutorials/documentation which don't make every aspect all that clear. So when I come to use it in anger in a recording I spend so long trying to figure out how to make it do what I want I just give up and think "why am I putting myself through this when I can just play the part myself"! Maybe as an "ideas bank" I could see myself using it and I might still pick up the others as part of the current deal. I also got Paths 1 & 2 a couple of years ago as part of a deal (though not as cheap as the are now). Again, I like their content but I haven't really used them. Maybe one day! 🤦🏻‍♂️

  10. Amazing effort and very useful post! 👍🏻 I particularly applaud the Automation copy/paste improvements which have bugged me for a while. Thanks very much Noel.
  11. Useful that, thanks for the heads up Larry.
  12. Me too! I had a long listen to the electric violin and cello but didn't really like how they sounded. I really like Claire Flute and Clarinet but I have those instruments covered elsewhere albeit not quite so nice sounding.
  13. I got the everything pack a while ago on a crazy cheap deal but my login seems to no longer work... However, as I tend to keep everything when I buy stuff, the download link which they sent me when I bought everything still works! The link for 808 from Mars also seems to also download the latest version of the 808 pack. I also found some updates and other sample libraries that weren't there originally such as Lindrum from Mars (different to the original ones named lindrum.zip and linn60.zip), 505, 606 and 707 from Mars. I am still going through all the links to check for other new stuff. So if you own the Everything Pack check your download link for updates and new stuff.
  14. Mine are also on an SSD abacab but I have way too many Waves plugins. 🙄 Anyway, I don't think the problem is the number of Waves plugins but the fact that it re-scans multiple versions of Waveshell every time even when they haven't changed. So for now I have set CbB to manual scan and when I add something new (more often that I should) I do a manual scan.
  15. I might upgrade if it appears in a future Humble Bundle offer but for now I am very happy with DaVinci Resolve 16 having switched from Vegas Pro 15.
  16. Thanks for the information Matthew. I just tried Reaper, Studio One 4.5 Pro and Cubase Pro 10 and none of them seemed to repeatedly re-scan Waveshell files after multiple startups with their default scan settings.
  17. Agreed. It's very annoying and the only plugin I can think of that behave this way.
  18. Same here! Also note that the Elevate Bundle also includes the Saturate and Punctuate updates so no need to download these separately if you are downloading the Elevate Bundle update.
  19. I'm sure there is a way to stop the multiple Waveshell.dlls (Waves plugins) being scanned at every startup which I seem to have forgotten. I have Wavshell9.92 and 5 different versions of Waveshell10 (as I have v9 & 10 plugins). Most other plugins are scanned once at CbB (and other DAWs) startup and then no more until they change but Waves seem to be different. I had even thought of making a batch file to move/hide/rename them until I update any of the Waves plugins and then move/unhide/rename again when I need them again but I'm not sure that will work and I'm sure there was a better solution. Anyone? Thanks

    CbB Updated again

Bakers are on a roll now! Thanks for the heads-up Larry 👍🏻
  21. Thanks chaps. I was interested in the original version of this but was put off by the price. I might get the Outside In version now the price is more reasonable. Does anyone have the original version and care to share their thoughts?
  22. I am tempted by that bundle too Fleer even though I already have vol 1 as it's still a pretty cheap way to get vols 2 & 3. Would be interested in your thoughts on vols 2 & 3 when you have tried them out. Loving the look and sound of Veevum. The UI seems well thought out but I will hold off this time and wait for it to appear on APD etc for a knockdown price.
