Thanks for the kind words. For the next AmpliTube the chains (whole chain plus stomp/rack/etc) will be different than AmpliTube 4 but not quite like MixBox either. As for what's included, that's a great question - there's a lot I'd have to check out the current list but... Can't tell much more at this time

Wow, I see why I've thought that maybe you all might be better without me around here. Though most people aren't 100% sarcastic and insulting just because a product isn't for them. Even heated, folks like Lars, Fleer, etc give constructive criticism.

Thanks! I love it too. Sounds REALLY good and is a different beast than T-RackS and other products. Plus some new stuff and things that aren't in T-RackS (see below). This, plus there are processors not in T-RackS at all (lots of modulation), the brand new reverbs, great features, the mentioned presets (a ton of them), and more. It is not just some repackaging, I think people are making assumptions here. Should probably demo it and find out what MixBox is about. I've used T-RackS since way before I worked for IK and I still use it daily - MixBox is different and I think it is one of the best products we've made and would think so if I didn't work for IK. Thanks for the compliments. Note that this isn't a virtual instrument so it wouldn't be added for that reason not because it is too new. Most here should qualify for the lowest special $/€99.99 pricing.

If FL Studio was still Fruity Loops I'd want that for free. I guess I'd still have a license for it if it was kept up in that fashion, since I did buy it back in the day and loved that it did one thing and did it well.

The US office in southern Florida. I work remotely but I'm close enough and (will, after things settle down and it is safe) visit frequently so I will. Though for jamming we already have a big "jam room" where we can host a ton of people and have a quasi-stage etc. It's no Sweetwater campus but it is still pretty sweet.

It's my favorite time of the year! Just enough craziness due to the group buy and not quite the craziness of the end of the year and then NAMM time. There will still be craziness for the latter as the show must go on in some way and we should have some great live and recorded events going on at that time. Including some from the new IK US recording studio since we had to sit here jealous of the Italian IK recording studio for far too long.

That's a SKU from the Exchange system dealers use, but yes it is included and is a valid SKU. Our internal SKUs (which I use for any prices or listings on promos since I'm not dealing directly with dealers in my role usually) are different. Don't get me started on the "SKUs" and similar used in the iOS App Store, those can be a PITA.

There was a quick Krazy Deal on Clavitube, and it really is a cool library. Yes, we've extended the VI Group Buy and added a tier! It may look aggressive but once we get to higher numbers of free products available people seem to go for the "sure thing" of 4x1 or 5x1 and it can really accelerate toward the top tier so we figured we'd get ahead of that. Hopefully that's the last update, though if you all crush that tier early we'd have to consider another, I suppose. But that's a big tier already and would be amazing, but it is doable.

I feel like I'm dealt with quite well around here, you beat me with your wallets - both when you open them and when you decide to keep them closed and why. That's in all sincerity that I say that, and the community vibe here is much appreciated.

I'm pretty sure we never even implied/hinted that Gear Credits would be valid for iLoud/hardware or anything like that. Gear Credits were rolled out stating that they were for a la carte gear in AmpliTube but people wanted Collections and T-RackS singles using them and that made sense. Hardware and MODO products, etc don't make sense in this context though, so I wouldn't count on ever seeing those for Gear Credits. You can still get some of the more expensive options to get into the Group Buy in Custom Shop for Gear Credits (SampleTank --> Collections if you are interested in seeing those), hence the mention in the news/VI Group Buy page.

I just wanted to make sure you all finally are informed that I'm affiliated with IK Multimedia and that IK will benefit if you buy anything from my links OK, I hope some lighthearted posting would put folks at ease a bit. But to be serious, Reid is a great asset to this forum and I'm glad things seem to have been cleared up. My $0.02 (not a commission, I unfortunately do not get commissions) is that it probably would have been a bit nicer if OP had asked the mods directly and privately what the policy was with regard to affiliate links and regardless perhaps not calling someone out directly. That all seems to be the crux of any "issue" in this thread from what I can see. I believe other forums do have policies forbidding affiliate links, but this is not other forums and I hope the pretty free, open, community-driven policies stay in place. I do like seeing some improvements, though, since I don't think I've triple-posted or have had a post auto-deleted for reasons I can't figure out so there's definitely ongoing improvement on top of things like Larry mentions about how the community itself is very warm, open, and I feel improves in great ways every day. Just the fact that this isn't already a 50-page mess like it might be elsewhere is a sure sign of quality community interaction. I haven't done a true A/B but anecdotally this one sounds better to me. We did use Dime's own JC- 20 for this, too, if that helps. Also, I played for may years using a JC 120 as my main amp in my funk band days.

Sorry but if Miroslav Philharmonik 2 sounds like a GM stock crappy soundset you might be doing something wrong or have an issue with the install or your setup. There are a lot of selections, it seems people might still be missing the slew of SampleTank and Syntronik instruments (they are represented by one icon each on the VI Group Buy page) and the fact you'll be able to get 5 major VIs by the end even if you don't choose a single instrument for the free choices. There will be nothing added to the group buy while it is in flight. And it is a VI Group Buy so even if we broke that (which we aren't going to) it would have to be a VI and there's only one not included (Syntronik Deluxe Upgrade).

Developers only get 100 codes for each app and in-app purchase per update to the app. There wouldn't be nearly enough of those to go around (plus giving them away as part of a group buy would violate the terms agreed to by developers who have their apps on Apple's App Store). Trust me, we'd to it if it was possible to generate codes like we can do with our own software on our store.

See below about the workaround that has worked for anybody having the Windows 10 issue if you are on Windows 10. You should have been made aware of the 180 days multiple times but I'll let the team know you didn't see those. Sure, anybody can use crappy hosting but we don't. We use a top-tier CDN and give you 180 days to download as many times as you'd like. If you don't prefer to do your own backups, you can get access to all of your large sound libraries for the one-time fee and for another 180 days. That's cheaper than most cloud storage plans and you don't even have to use it... For those posting the same issue above and in the thread - the workaround should work for those on Windows 10 and IK Support is always happy to assist those for which it doesn't.
