FWIW.. I picked p a iRigs I/O on clearance and it got me into the $199 tier. Not the best build quality, but who cares. I got so much free stuff that I really wanted from the GB.

yeah. looking at that. read some other articles on that studio and the piano. i was just curious what people think it add to SampleTank that isn't already included. these are all the same piano sampled for different platforms, right? as per bapu.. it seems the IKM list does not detect all the Tracks stuff I have so I am able to select some of the Tracks modules I had as freebies. But not other things. I think things like DynaMu, Metering, some of the Classic series like compressor and X-Saturator.

just to confirm, we have until Nov 30 to pick the freebies, right?

FWIW.. I think I am gonna pass on the Arc 3. I have a lot of other issues in my setup.. and probably should invest in a lot more rockwool first. Also, Arc 3 and the mic and software will come included in an iLoud MTM purchase, if or when, I upgrade by old studio monitors. I will probably complete my ST 4 and AT 5 collections. I am finding it a really good ecosystem. I really like the idea the IKM Talks dude on YU does which is make a present that empties out all the effects quickly in ST4 patches. It's been a life saver.

I don't have a room. I work in a concrete basement. So an Arc would do me no good. But I am in the process of building a room. I have one wall done and installed. Need to do 3 more walls and a door. So I was debating picking this up and then a separate MEMS mic. The the reality is, I am mostly a player.. not an engineer. So just not sure if I will ever really make use of it. (I finally wrapping up my unversity degree in December and will now have all the time in the world to do the walls. never going to skule again!)

I am considering the nu-tron.. the other two are just mics. i am not sure how much value they are. I am sort of really getting into the SampleTank application itself. I am finding it to be a really useful and intuitive tool to learn to understand sampling technologies. I started tinkering with the editor to make my own libraries. much easier to use than Kontakt IMO.

I am gonna be sad when its over. It was a good 2 months of fun. I would also like to send out kudos to IKM and Peter. I think this was an amazing group buy and a great thing to do for people during the COVID pandemic. It gives people inspiration and something to enjoy and have fun with at home at a very decent and reasonable price point.

I think a lot of the stuff that is in AT 5 Max that is not in AT 5 is included. I have been picking up various amps and effects from AT 5 Max. I think I just have the ENGL's left. I am waiting to see if IKM will add any other items into the selection before I use them up.

their counter is a little messed it. it shows 607 here. i think its their web back end proxy setup. my guess is by early or middle of next week it will hit the 25k mark

This group buy seems to allow you to get pretty much all of AT5 MAX (depending on how many times you enter the $99 tier). FWIW.. I only used AT 5 SE before this. I got pretty much almost all the collections and rest of MAX in this GB. I would say it really depends how you use AT 5 and what sort of music you do and tones you go after. Having the larger selection of amps, effects and mics allows for all sorts of crazy virtual combinations to try to get some sort of sound design happening with guitars. I experiment a lot of different mic's and try to see how whacky I can get it. Its so much easier in virtual drag and drop world than real world.

I am basically doing this through my work network as I can't be arsed to do it at home. I don't want to install SampleTank on a work computer. I just want to download to a external drive for backup. I am just trying to just download the data. I don't want to install it. It looks like Program Manager will only download if you install. To download, only, looks like you have to go in one by one and download the files in groups.

yup. you can select up to 10 files at a time.
