  1. scook's post in Save As New Project Bug (I Think) was marked as the answer
I have never nested projects underneath an existing project but I have complete versions of projects along side the original project in a folder. To do this
create a master project folder (typically in the project files path in preferences but it does not have to be there) create the original project in the master project folder use "Save As" or "Save As Copy" to navigate up out of the original project folder to create the new project at the same level as the original project in the master folder name the new project and verify "Copy all audio with project" is enabled save

  2. scook's post in How to make left channel track play on right? was marked as the answer
The quick way is to set the track interleave to Mono
The track interleave button may look different than the image in the help. The track interleave in the track inspector is just above "E" in the image below. It also may be on the track header and console strip.

The best way is Bounce to Track(s) set the Source Category to Tracks, select the Track and set the Channel Format to Split Mono. After bouncing the track pan the track containing the audio to center and delete the empty track.
In the future instead of recording the track in stereo set the input drop down on the track to the appropriate channel (in this case the left channel) and set the interleave to Mono

  3. scook's post in melodyne is service on trial version? was marked as the answer
It is a 30 day trial of the full version of Melodyne.
After the trial expires, the editor stops working but monophonic audio-to-midi and tempo detection continue to work.

Controller pane draw resolution is linked to the snap setting. Either turn snap off or use a smaller snap setting.
  12. scook's post in Problem re-installing Melodyne from Bandlab app was marked as the answer
BA keeps track of what it installed using registry entries in
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\Cakewalk\Installers
I did not install the bundled Melodyne so do not have the actual key to the Melodyne record. It should be pretty clear which is the Melodyne record based on the data. Delete the appropriate key and the Add-ons option will be available again.

  13. scook's post in Does the latest Bandlab software contain everything that Sonar Platinum had? was marked as the answer
There is no physical media for SONAR Platinum. Use Cakewalk Command Center to install and activate Platinum https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=Introduction.30.html#1435096
Use the XLN Audio Installer to download and activate AD2
Use your Celemony account to get the latest Melodyne installer
After that follow these instructions to install and activate CbB https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Introduction.30.html#1521945

  15. scook's post in How to save Track Template with Automation Parameter was marked as the answer
AFAIK, automation is stored in projects and project templates not track templates.
Here is the list of things stored in a track template according to the documentation.

  16. scook's post in Cakewalk crash created empty "bounced" files from takes. was marked as the answer
I don't use "convert to mono" preferring to "Bounce to Tracks" to split tracks into mono but I have not used either on a track with take lanes.
If the program crashed send the dump to support following these instructions
I had already started to reply when the second post appeared. Here it is. They may help recover lost sessions.

If versioning is enabled you may be able to revert to a project file setup the way you want or something close to it.
Since the project has already been opened again the copy made by autosave (if enabled) may be newer than the crash. Autosave creates a copy of the project in the project folder with "Auto-save Copy of " prepended to the project file.

  20. scook's post in Izotope Neutron 3 Dynamic EQ Sidechain [Solved] was marked as the answer
The reason the gif is not embedded in the post is because the link points to the imgur page hosting the image.
To embed an image/video requires linking to the image/video itself and not the page hosting the image.
The url reported for the video is https://i.imgur.com/DZSfFaf.mp4
I describe how to embed an image in detail here
I upload png and animated gifs to imgur. Never uploaded an mp4 to imgur.
WRT sidechain, I do not have Neutron so cannot test. Sidechaning in CbB works the same for all plug-ins that have a sidechain input. A send to the plug-in needs to be created on the track transmitting data to the sidechain input.

  23. scook's post in Can't load some plugins - SOLVED was marked as the answer
Best to start looking for replacements for 32bit plug-ins ASAP
This error is due to the plug-in with insufficient privileges trying to write to disk. This may be addressed by installing this plug-in in a different folder where anyone may write, changing the permissions of the current folder or running the DAW as administrator.
