  1. I received the Big Fish download as an add-on with Sonar Home Studio. I just tried some of the loops in the 2019.07 release of Cakewalk by Bandlab and they worked fine for me. As an aside, the loops can be downloaded direct from Big Fish Audio. The Sonar download is a combined download of the six, free loop sample packs. Here is a link from Big Fish: https://www.bigfishaudio.com/free-loops.html
  2. @Paul Bush, If money is a concern, you may want to consider a refurbished computer. For example here is a Dell tower with Windows 10 Pro, Intel Quad Core i7-2600 3.4Ghz CPU, 16 GB of ram, 1 TB hard drive and a DVD/RW optical drive for $409 US. It also has a one year warranty and the company sells through WalMart and is Microsoft and Dell certified. https://discountelectronics.com/dell-optiplex-790-quad-core-i7-tower-windows-7-pro-computer/?gclid=CjwKCAjwnf7qBRAtEiwAseBO_IyVASVGljM6qEfMzHTCDzdtyIx9orL4cr2zB8Dyxv13PXwi0yikVxoCkyUQAvD_BwE
  3. Steve, I've read from your link that "E" is the selection duration. So if I have the large Export module (as seen in your image) "E" will update and display the duration of a selection even if I'm going to cut or delete the highlighted selection?
  4. Overall I like the idea. I can visualize a floating pop-up window displaying the information. However, because the control bar can display multiple measurements wouldn't be more appropriate if the window displayed the data in the same format as the control bar? For example if I'm highlighting part of a track as part of my preparation to create a sample accurate loop I may have the control bar set to samples and would want to know how many samples I've highlighted.
  5. I concur. They're present but not enabled. A user can enable them once the user is aware of their existence. One less housekeeping task to perform after an update if the plugins are enabled by default.
  6. There are many Windows graphic viewer programs. For users that is a good thing! I've been using Irfanview since the mid nineties when it was a young program. I don't think Irfanview's developer likes XnView's developer. Irfanview's developer states that XnView uses Irfanview code. https://www.irfanview.com/main_what_is_engl.htm
  7. @martins, First I use "ALT + PrntScr" to capture a screen shot to the Windows clipboard. Then I open a free image program called Irfanview (available at the link below). "Ctrl + V pastes the screen shot into Irfanview. I use Irfanview to enlarge and center the image as desired. I press "ALT + PrntScr" to take a second screen shot. Close and open Irfanview to flush old image "Ctrl + V to paste the new and enlarged screen shot into Irfanview. Optional press F12 to open an Irfanview version of Paint and add text, arrows, or other items as desired. Save edited image to my desktop. Upload image to cloud storage. Obtain image url from cloud storage provider Paste image url into Cakewalk by BandLab forum post. It takes longer to read the steps than to perform them. Here is the link I forgot to post: https://www.irfanview.com/
  8. I didn't receive an email. I checked SPAM just to make sure an email didn't sneak by me but, nope, nothing relevant in SPAM. I wonder why some Celemony users get an email and others don't.
  9. Celemony now has this on their Community Webpage:
  10. Greetings @Rogério Dec, I agree a lot can change in 10 minutes. Plus the back ups can suck up a lot of storage space over time. I have a link in my signature to a post chief developer Noel Bortwick created addressing how to collect information when something like this occurs. I urge you to read the post and create a mini dump file and provide it to the development team. There really isn't a better way for them to obtain the information they need to develop a fix. The information helps them fix your issue which helps all of us.
  11. As stated, very nice of Bandlab and Synchro Arts have this give away. However I'm like Bitflipper and RBH and have chosen not to be a Facebook member.
  12. @mark skinner, Go to "Help" > "About Cakewalk" The version number includes the year and month the version is released. The first four digits are the year while digits five and six indicate the month. In the example below the version is 2019.07. The other information given on that line is build number (79) and that it is 64 bit In another post the Cakewalk by Bandlab developers indicated offline computers need to "touch home" a minimum of every six months, or twice a year, to prevent dropping into demo mode so this installation should be good until February, 2020. I would run BandLab Assistant in January, 2020 just to have a little cushion.
  13. @gbc410 George, Welcome to the Cakewalk by BandLab (CbB) forum! BandLab offers user and developer support through the forum and developer support through e-mail. I have not seen any indication that telephone support is available. I can attest that I've received a timely response when I've used both the forum and e-mail.
  14. Greetings Sarmad and welcome to the forum! You've created an interesting list. I'm just a beginner at audio production, working with midi and using Cakewalk by BandLab so I hope you don't mind if I ask you to expand upon your suggestions so I can better understand them. Your expanded explanations may help me to better understand how your suggestions will benefit me! Why would you need to search for loaded tracks or synths? What kind of external fx plugin do you mean? Can you provide examples? Examples. What can Cakewalk by BandLab change so it better handles notation? Do you expect or desire Cakewalk by Bandlab to handle notation as well as a standalone notation program? What notation feature(s) would you consider one or more giant step(s) forward for Cakewalk by Bandlab? Are you providing the Cakewalk by BandLab developers with bug or crash reports when you have instability working with lots of synths in huge midi projects? If so, thank you. I think everyone including the developers agree with you. Have you seen that the August 2019 update has more than 120 bug fixes!
  15. Love it! That looks nice and is easy on the eyes. Wonderful!
  16. The Vocal Reverb strips are really green. Although the font and color pops-out I think that is a little too bright when viewed in dim or dark lighting. At night I typically have my laptop monitor brightness turned down as low as it will go. When I'm using it that way very bright colors overshadow the rest of the screen.
  17. Black font on yellow background like the insert labeling just above the sends? I think that would work very well.
  18. The only issue I see is the red labeling in the Send modules is unreadable. See the screen shot below: http://
  19. @martins Are these the screen shots you're asking about? http:// http://
  20. @msmcleod How did you find out about the six minute limit? I did not see that information on the webpage. I tested it but could not tell a distinctive difference using the three settings. They all sounded about the same to me.
  21. Place your mouse cursor in the display area and right click to toggle the display between the following time formats: * M:B:T (Measure:Beat:Tick). Example: 8:01:000. * SMPTE (Hours:Minutes:Seconds:Frames). Example: 00:00:21:00. * Frames. Example: 629 (only available if project contains video). * Milliseconds (Hours:Minutes:Seconds:Milliseconds). Example: 00:00:21:000. * Samples. Example: 926100. You can also right-click the display, and choose time formats from the pop-up menu.
  22. @msmcleod Or stop drawing altogether. I have not used this function but I would not expect drawing to continue when the pencil tool is outside the automation lane.
  23. @scook But not everyone is comfortable performing registry hacks and would rather not risk accidentally damaging the operating system registry. One workaround maybe to use print screen to take a screen shot of the paths the program follows to scan for VSTs and then remove all paths except for one. Perform a manual scan and see if there is an issue, if not then replace that path with another and test again. Continue testing until trouble is encountered then eliminate the VSTs one by one.
