  1. As an update to this, I was unable to use the $10 code to WUP, but I was able to use it to complete a bundle.
  2. Unfortunately, doesn’t sound stupid at all. Many of my older Waves plugins are too small to read on a modern computer. Omni is not terribly small, but it is rather congested, so could use a boost to the bigger size . So I guess my choice is WUPing that for about $3 (assuming can apply $10 off to WUP) or spending about $20 (after $10 off) to complete one of the smaller bundles, which would have the net effect of making the GUIs of about 3 plugins (that I’d actually use) readable.
  3. I’m in this same boat
  4. Love Toontrack, but it would be nice to see EZ Drummer and Superior being pushed by other drum programs out there to improve in ways such as you suggest, and otherwise. As it is, their competition seems to be falling more by the wayside every year. (I believe Superior does have the scaling feature)
  5. Hmm…. I don’t see that in mine. Looks like I’m still at 3.60.

    BFD Holiday Sale

Although I absolutely love the sounds of BFD3, I will not buy any BFD product until InMusic stabilizes the BFD3 platform……period.
  7. Updated to 9.2. Just run the Izotope Product Portal.
  8. A bit slow in serial arriving for this…
  9. Mine came in similar fashion. Oddly enough the serial for the Into the Dark EZX ($47), which I ordered with it, did not show up in my inbox at the same time. When I emailed them about it, they responded literally within 5 minutes, copying support with their response. Turned out that for some odd reason it had gone to my spam filter, even though the other one had not.
  10. Just to echo what others have said….I’ve gotten unbelievably quick and quality customer service from these guys on the few occasions when it has been needed.
  11. I assume Holiday Deal Week is going to be Toontrack’s last sale of the year? Does anyone recall if they usually have any post-Christmas sale?
  12. I believe it includes all their old classic stuff, but not some of the less memorable stuff they’ve released in the last 10 years or so.
  13. Yeah, one of the many reasons I usually don’t even bother anymore with their so-called “repairs”.
  14. Their servers, at least for me, appear to be a bit wonky today. When I did get through though, it listed updates available for other products I have, but not LoFi🤪. Wasn’t Waves Central supposed to automatically tell us when updates were available? Oh well..
  15. Used it the other day on Amek 200:)

    IK Modo Bass

…..now if only they would add an upright…
  17. Anyone using and liking this….or not?
  18. I’ll definitely watch it. Like ‘em or not, their impact on the culture, on music and on recording has been immeasurable. I’ve gone through various times in my life where my musical taste was pretty different from what most people consider “Beatles music”. They were undoubtedly, though, what got me hooked on music in the first place. And their willingness to experiment beyond popular and successful formulas has also left a lasting impression. It’s hard to believe, looking back on it, that they only made records for about 6 or 7 years. I look forward to watching a few more hours of the magic.
  19. Waiting for the swallows to return to Capistrano? Or maybe just for Godot, himself? Both will occur well in advance of Izotope ever offering a reasonable upgrade or crossgrade to RX Advanced.
  20. I actually own Miroslav, but have never been really thrilled with its sound.
  21. Does anyone use this? How does it compare to IK’s Miroslav?
  22. Pretty much agree here. I won’t pretend that I don’t care about politics…I do. And can’t say I’m anywhere close to Larry’s views….I’m not. Larry does perform an outstanding job on this forum however, and I think many of us have had experiences with difficult bureaucracies , whether they be governmental or corporate in nature. I don’t even see that alone as being a right wing or left wing thing. As for the overtly political part of all this, we would certainly be best off just parking it at the door.
  23. Never a mistake to start your purchases off with a musical instrument that you love. I suspect that you will derive more hours of enjoyment and spiritual satisfaction from it than …say… the Split EQ.
