  1. Quite a few. I have Komplete
  2. I've actually had no performance related issues on Cubase 12. It has been nearly identical to 11.
  3. Dream Theater is one of my all time favorite bands. Simply. Amazing. I mean, those guys never met a time signature they didn't like...
  4. What they are really good for (for me) is really teaching me how to use a specific library. OK, I have all this midi, I'll use 8Dio strings - this is how to make them sound correct. Now, I'll change to Cinematic Studio, this is what I have to do with CSS. Etc.
  5. I'm still not sure why I buy things to reinforce that I have no talent...
  6. I have the first two volumes, and I've completed two recipes.... both of which sound like crap.
  7. I'm confused, I thought that was Soundbytes...
  8. As seen from the comments above, this is not for everyone. I actually love it - great concept, good execution. Clearly, one has had the ability to preview midi files on a computer since when - 1987? This implementation, however, is so much more than that. This is a great companion to a sample manager, and also includes other utilities. Sarine is right - this product is symptomatic of capitalism - innovation is encouraged, and products and companies rise or fall on their quality. (I love capitalism. )

    MODO BASS 2

I've learned my lesson on IK. Hard pass.
  10. Actually, I think this is a really cool idea. An easy way of previewing Midi files would be welcome.
  11. Please do. I'm in the same boat....
  12. Ooooohhhhh - cheesy 80's FM EPs!!! Reminds me how bad I was with girls as a teenager in the late 80s. Seriously though, I love those sounds. And this is a great deal on FM Tines 2
  13. Outside of the included library, I have a D:\Native Instruments and an E:\Sample Content in Cosmos.
  14. I updated with seemingly no issue. What exactly are you seeing Abacab?
  15. See this VI Thread for info regarding Gothic.
  16. Looks like their prices went up. 50% off used to be around $120
  17. Well, I got my survey for my Steinberg ticket. I really let them have it. I let them have it for me, for Larry, and the for everyone else they've screwed in the past two weeks.
  18. Well, I bit on this. Picked it up, as well as the Arturia EFX. Eventide Anthology update will have to wait.
  19. Agreed. I'm a bit conflicted. I had some duckets that I was going to upgrade my Eventide Anthology, but now I don't know. I've been wanting this Venus....
  20. Yes, FINALLY! Been waiting on this one. If you have Mars, SoundIron will give you a coupon to upgrade to Olympus for 50% off (which just includes Venus). The VST Buzz deal is $112.50, my question is has anyone seen Olympus at $250?
  21. I would have picked Studio One when Sonar collapsed, but their hardware/midi support was really behind Cubase.
  22. Yes, huge fan actually. I live in the South now, but was born and raised in the Midwest. At the time, you either pulled for the NorthStars or the Blackhawks; I picked the Hawks, so I've been a fan since the late 80s. Chicago has always been one of my favorite cities to visit (not sure I would want to live there). I'm actually in Lake Forest this week for work.
  23. Well, after a bit of back and forth (where I had to continually remind them of their policy), I finally got my Elements 12 Activation key. Which, I guess I could sell now, since I don't really need it now.
