  1. This library is for full-version Kontakt 5.8.1 or later.
  2. I never use UVI portal. I always use a download manger to download the UVI libraries directly. That's always faster than UVI portal.

    How to extend track

I use the “add a MIDI CC event” method - that always works for me.....
  4. Just placed an order.... didn’t get my serial number via email (Paypal notification email came, though).. Checked spam folder. Shot an email to Production Voices support. Maybe they are being hammered...
  5. I might be wrong on this, I am pretty sure the Behringer umc22 uses ASIO4ALL as it's driver... If that is the case, I am thinking that one way to reduce your latency, is to get an audio interface that comes with its own native ASIO drivers (Which is not ASIO4ALL).
  6. If it happened in Cakewalk 8.5, then it's not ripple edit. Ripple edit was not a thing until the Sonar Platinum years. One other thing it might be is in the advanced Paste Dialogue box, you may have ticked “Slide over to make room” instead of "Blend old and New".
  7. Ripple edit effects everything, including MIDI clips. I don't use it much either - you would want to only use it when needed. The ripple edit is the button under the min/max/close buttons on the track view window. There are no keybindings to it by default. However, it you have set some (I suspect you have not though), you might be pressing the key by mistake. See: http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Arranging.33.html
  8. Not possible with clip new. However, a work-a-round may be to display “notes” instead of “clips” to display the inline PRV.
  9. Is it possible that sometimes you have ripple edit enabled?
  10. Do you happen to have Ripple Edit enabled?
  11. Are you using version 5.01? see: https://cgi.ikmultimedia.com/ikforum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=26314
  12. I don't know if one exists, but you could probably write one if you have the know how?
  13. Again, in these situations, I just use two instances of the same VSTi. If the synth does not achieve it with single instance, then so amount of MIDI trickery will make it happen. Well, you could fake it by splitting one of the notes mid bend and then shifting the post note by a semitone. Then you can temporarily adjust the attack and release so you don't notice the break between notes. For me, it's just easier to use two tracks. Even doing this you are still going to send the MIDI data to a single synth sound - so the bend will affect all notes the same. It will be up to the synth to separate out the notes into different tracks. Again , two instances of the same VSTi is the way to go.
  14. The ability to bend just one note is 100 percent dependant on the synthesiser you are using. If pitch bend was required to bend just one note, the synth would have to have a way to be told (via MIDI commands) which note to bend. Again, 100 percent dependant on the synthesiser. Of course, some synths can use other parameters to bend pitch - like polyphonic Aftertouch for instance. For example, with Cakewalk's Z3TA+ 2 , you can map an oscillator's pitch to polyphonic aftertouch so that it bends just once note and leaves the others alone. That is because the MIDI polyphonic aftertouch event string contains the actual note number to be affected. Maybe you could use articulation maps to convert existing Channel aftertouch events to polyphonic aftertouch events . However, you would need a specific mapping entry for each note you wish to affect. Personally, I find it easier to just use a second instance of a synth on a separate track (if your using VSTi plugins). With Hardware synths, you are totally dependant on the capabilities of that synth.

  16. Try temporarily disabling Windows Defender and trying again.....

  18. Check that your MIDI track do not have any CC7 events in there. Select all, then open Event List view. Maybe filter to display just controller events.
  19. What does https://speedtest.net tell you that your speed is? I am on 50 megabits per seconds ethernet wired internet connection and, for me, it only takes a few minutes.
  20. Define “redoing my computer.”..... On a fresh install of Windows 10 and after patching it, but before installing any third party security software, you should be able get Cakewalk by Bandlab up and running via Bandlab Assistant. The only other issue I can think of is a poor or unstable (or slow) internet connection. I am on a stable, ethernet wired 50 megabit per second internet connection and I have never had an issue installing or updating Cakewalk by Bandlab, ever.. I am on Australian English with my system locale set to Australia When Bandlab Assistant downloads the current Cakewalk by Bandlab installer, during the installation, it’s in the following folder: %appdata%\bandlab-assistant\Downloads Note: This file gets deleted after a successful install of Cakewalk by Bandlab. At the time of my post, the name of this file is “Cakewalk_by_BandLab_Setup_27.01.0.098.exe” and is exactly 560,644,752 bytes in size. (I always keep a backup of this file)

    Reading old .WRK files

I have MIDI WRK files that I did as far back as 1998 (in Cakewalk Pro Audio 9) that open (and play) fine in Cakewalk by Bandlab (all versions to the latest)

    AIR Hybrid 3

Are the AIR and SONiVOX issues with Windows 10 only with the installers themselves or the fact that the plugins are on your Windows 10 system?

    AIR Hybrid 3

And then there is this from Plugin Boutique tech support after requesting the installers... "Due to a severe technical issue with the Windows versions of various AIR Music Technology & SONiVOX software, we have made the decision to remove the affected products from the Plugin Boutique site whilst we wait for the updated installers which will fix this problem. As a result of this, we recommend that Windows 10 users DO NOT download or install any AIR Music Technology/SONiVOX software. "
  24. Maybe try temporarily disabling ExpressVPN On a properly configured Windows 10 machine with zero issues, Bandlab Assistant should work properly.
  25. I've done a lot of country tracks that use pedal steels. Therefore, I too, sometimes only need to bend one note while leaving the others untouched. As per previous posts, I just use a second pedal steels track to bend that one note.
