GX-80 is $59 right now by itself. So you would get all of the others for a total of $22.68. That's just a little over $7 each!!!

I got all of those with the AIR Instrument Expansion Pack 3 (AIEP 3) about 6 years ago. No longer have Structure or Strike installed, for various reasons. They are no longer maintained, so all you get is what you get (with any old bugs), and the GUIs are dated and small. I see that you have mostly ruled them out. Strike would be interesting if they ever updated it, but they won't. Structure is quite dated, and easily surpassed by Kontakt or SampleTank. Plus the sample library size is why I uninstalled them. I still have Riser installed, and it is interesting specialty synth for creating rises, falls, swells, fades, etc., and other special effects. It has 3 generators (oscillators): Sweep, Noise, and Chord that you can filter, modulate. etc. Not an instrument that you would play, but useful for creating transitions.

I have those 3 and uninstalled Strike and Structure a while back. They all had a few bugs that bugged me, and are not ever going to be fixed, and I wanted the disk space back. If you can live with a few flaws that won't be fixed, maybe they are worth $10 a pop for a few hours of fun. Strike: The file exports never worked correctly for me. But for just jamming it can be fun, the patterns can be switched as you play it from a controller. Library takes up a bit of disk space. Transfuser2: The plugin GUI sometimes failed to correctly render for me in some DAWs. Dated tiny GUI. Can do some interesting things with grooves that no other plugin seems to do, with a series of real-time controls, Transfuser 2 lets you create and tweak grooves, chop up beats and phrases, time-stretch sounds, re-pitch notes, randomize sequences, and more – all on the fly. Structure: Unable to edit text in presets. Dated tiny GUI. Library takes up a bit of space, and was redundant to my Kontakt and SampleTank libraries. Stick to Xpand 2. YMMV. Edit: still have Transfuser 2 installed...

That's not the latest version. It's the latest release notes. They haven't been updated yet.

Understood! But no worries at all here. That's why I take a full system disk image backup nightly (scheduled to run while I'm sleeping). If something ever goes sideways with software (and it eventually will), I can easily restore my system in about 40 minutes from the last image taken.

I've seen that happen a few times. Weird, but this time I left Software Pass open while I performed the updates. Then I refreshed Software Pass, and now it shows everything up to date!

Nothing noticeable here yet on Windows. I have been launching them as they are installed, so at least they aren't broken! Waiting for the updated release notes to see what changes and fixes were made. However, I did observe that all synths are up to a full "point" release now, e.g., Triton 1.3.7 > Triton 1.4.0, for whatever that's worth.

I have had Dune on my wishlist for a while. It sounds freakin awesome! Have Dune CM, and have tried the full Dune demo. But it keeps getting bumped to the backseat due to budget issues... 🙄
