Yes ST3 iirc. I have IK vst3's installed and have not had a problem with them that I can tell.

I looked all over EZB for that because I knew I seen it one time, but didn't look under the HELP menu!! Duh!!

Could you use Cakewalks Drum Maps to do that?

Not a huge Slash fan either, (I do like SCOM and WTTJ, great lead playing on both) But I do like his collection! Mesa Boogie collection is my fav out of all of them. Not sure why but I still gravitate towards the Amplitube Clean amp!! I will pass a secret on to everyone here, AT Tube Comp.

Not sure about release dates, but I bought the Classic Studio Reverb (CSR modules in TR5) way back in the day (through a CW/IK promotion) and they sound just as good today as they did back then before they were a TR module. I also bought Amplitube 2 Live 10 years ago because it had the best clean sound of any amp sim back then. In fact, I still use it in AT5, it's still has the same clean sound as it has in every version of AT. The point I am trying to make is that when IK nails it, it's nailed!! So just because a processor may be an older release, don't let that be the judge. Listen.... then make your choices. You got time.

Great tone on the lead!! This is one of my favorite songs of all time. Love it!! Going for the second listen. Now about the plugins: I don't think you over did the Sunset!! Sounds sweet. And that Kosoff lead sound "and" feel you nailed. I would have thrown in some Ride Bell on that last chorus.... but then again... 😀 Sounds great t

I would agree with this being a different kit. I have had it since it came out and have used it in certain instances. It does have a sound all it's own. And I haven't heard it anywhere else!! I think I still have some un-redeemed kits from a sale XLN had a while back. I really like the Black Oyster kit. Keep going back to that. As far as getting a ITB drum "feel", to me Jamstix 4 is the best. After learning how to get what I want out of it (and it is a curve, but so worth it) I use it almost exclusively on the start of a new song. And then most of the time I route Jamstix to AD2. I love EZD2 for fills to be honest. So easy to find a great fill I need using the browser, then I can adjust it as needed. XO is not to be discounted. Great tool right there. Outstanding features that allow you to tweak it just the way you need. And I haven't even learned all it features!! If a program is developed well codewise, it will last. I have CE2K installed on my machine. It's only 32bit, but that hasn't stopped it from working. I know people still use WinAmp!!

Yep. And I was content getting that "Latest/Greatest" version when it went on sale for below $150. It seems that devs kinda went for the "Who can go the lowest" and now want to "All go back to regular price before we all go broke!" If Izotope goes full sub without offering me updates to products I own, I will find an alternative. Now Izotope does have a good idea in that when you stop the sub, you still have a product to use (with limitations). Which reminds me of Waves; If you don't WUP, you still have product to use, with it's only limitation being no new updated features. Other subs, (talking to you PA), when you quit the sub, your out. Nothing!! So I may end up getting in on some sub at some point. I mean I did WUP recently to v12. But when I do go with a sub, I will choose one where I keep something in the deal so that I am not tied to the sub forever!!

I use one of Matts themes on my music PC at home. Can't remember which one it is, but I think it's one similar to this. He does good work and (IIRC) has been working on his themes since CW came back out with them. The one I used on my Surface by Matt is the M-Spec theme. I need to update it. But just vouching for Matt here. He does good work and feel free to use his themes. They are good and not loaded with any kind of malware.
