Exactly. There was a time not long ago when you could buy Gear Credits at a substantial discount because they offered 100 Gear Credits for let's say $89. Then you could use Jam points to bring it down further. And the more GC you bought, say 500, the discount was even bigger. So if you had enough Jam Points, you could get a lot of GC for almost half off. So IK quit offering new products in the CS, so you couldn't use any gear credits to purchase new stuff. Few guys on this forum bought lots of GC and some of them may still have them. Because they couldn't buy what they wanted in the CS. Only the on line store. Now with this new CS thay have, they have taken away the discount on the Gear Credits. Now GC will cost you dollar for dollar. IOW 100 GC will cost you $100.

That's what I thought. I had gone to the Izotope portal to see what my loyalty discount would be ($149). Then got to looking at what I had and what was I going to get with MPS 4/1? Thought I was missing something. I now know why I didn't jump on this when MPS 4 came out.

Unless there is some stipulation that we are not aware of: That only paid versions of these products qualify for the discount. IOW if you got it in the GGBO21 as a freebie, that may not qualify to get the $20 discount. Be aware that I am not saying this is correct, I am only speculating here.

If I have Ozone 9 Advanced, Neutron 3 Advanced, Nectar 3, and others from MPS 3. What am I upgrading to going from MPS 3 to MPS 4.1 for $149? Am I not seeing something?

Zoe, yes. And owners of AT5, and other products. It will automatically be added if you quailify. However, if you buy 100 GC and use JP to bring that cost down to $69, you can get MB2 for $69. See my earlier post

IK getting better about keeping things under wraps before it's time for release

I had just run IK Product Manager last night at it didn't show any updates available.

The new stuff. IOW, MB2 stuff.

Best way I found is if you have enough JP, buy 100 gear credits ($99) and use 30 JP to bring the price down to $70. Then use those 100 GC to buy MB2 in the CS. Other than that, it's use the $20 discount or pay the full $99.

OK, it is in AT5 CS. It's hard to find. To buy it you have to choose Gear Credits or CC/Paypal. If you do Gear Credits, it doesn't appear to give any discount (IOW no $20 off for previous owners). If you use CC or PAYPAL, it will take you to the IK webstore. And I am also assuming that you will get the $20 off for being a registered user of something from IK.

Seems it's not available in the CS yet. It may not be offered there at all. IDK. Can't use any Jam Points with it. The $20 discount is all I can get. I am assuming that no/none of the improved IR responses are not available in AT CS, so the IR tech that comes with this MB2 won't be available to just AT5 CS users. I am thinking that only AT% full version users will have access to the new speaker tech. But it's not really clear on the IK website.

This requires NO PREVIOUS VERSION OF AMPLITUBE! Works inside of the new and improved AT CS. Lots of questions to be answered.

The 1tb version is $96. Not a bad deal. These are good drives. The 4tb is $359. And that's not a bad deal at all either. Good drives. Good prices.

Yes great people here. I started with this back when it was a "newsgroup". The helpful and knowledgeable peole here was the biggest factor in my going with Cakewalk, and staying with it. I have Studio One from the beginning, Reaper from the beginning. And tried those forums. But none were even close to this one. Best forum on the web.
