I love it Freddy! Your lyrics are always so funny, but so relatable because it's real life. You have a way with words, brother. I like the bluesy feel, and your vocal delivery is spot on. I think your right about the reverb. Maybe just a touch heavy, but it doesn't stick out or detract from the song. I love it man. Nice job!

Thanks Wookiee! I appreciate you checking it out!

Yep, I like this man. Got a nice laid back beat to it. And yes, someone else mentioned, I could see a stadium full of people grooving to this at a Dead concert. I'm hearing some minor tuning issues on the guitars, but who cares. It's a great song, and I would not hesitate to crank it up just the way it is. Nice song, man!

Very cool tube guys. I understand what Lynn is saying about the tube warmth, and that can definitely be a good thing, but I think the song has a very precision type feel to it that might get mushy if you start pushing the saturation. I love the changes in this song. Everyone's parts are very well played.(wait, that didn't sound right) Great job guys!

Yeah, this is badass. I love the banjo. Your songs have a carefree "screw conventional thinking" quality that I love. You can tell your having fun with your music. Love it man. Don't ever change.

Thanks a lot man! I appreciate it! I'm sorry for your loss as well. There ain't nothin wrong with some Lawrence Welk though! 😂 I'm glad you liked it man, and I really appreciate you taking the time to comment!

Hi Allan, Thanks so much for the very kind words, especially about the break! I'm glad you liked it! I really appreciate you taking the time to listen!

I enjoyed the song, Øyvind! 2nd mix is definitely better. As far as doubling the vocals, a doubler will work, but it sounds so much better if you actually resing the tracks. I usually will sing two extra tracks. Pan the main one up the middle, the drop the other two tracks about 10-15db, and pan them 30% left and 30% right. Try it man, I think you'll like the results. Great song though!

Yeah, I like this! It reminds me of some old Rainbow from the Joe Lynn Turner era. I liked everything about it! I'll be returning to listen again! Nice job Phoenix!

Pure Tone Multi Contact Mono 1/4 Output Jack
Leadfoot replied to mettelus's topic in The Coffee House
Very cool. I just replaced the jack on my SG last year. I wish I would have known about them. Thanks for the info! -
Hi Gary! It doesn't sound disrespectful at all, my friend. The song was meant as a celebration of his freedom from emphysema, as well as a number of other ailments he had suffered with for so long. That means a lot that it made you smile! I liked that lyric about the big block Chevy too. Thanks so much for listening, and for your kind words!

Hey Craig, Thank you so much for the kind words about my Dad. And I agree, it's hard to understand why some dirtbags get to be healthy, while some good people end up with issues. Glad you like the song man! My Dad was a rocker, and brought me up on Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis, etc. Then when he discovered AC/DC, he loved them because they had that same straight forward style bluesy rock sound, just harder. I knew if I was gonna write a song for him that he would not want some sad, sappy song. So I wrote him an AC/DC song!😁

Hey I just wanted to let y'all know that I posted a youtube video of the song. Thanks everyone!😁

Great news Bill! Best of luck to you man. I hope the damage is minimal.

Thanks for the compliments man! The AC/DC vibe was intentional, because my Dad loved them. I'm glad the vibe came across. Thanks for listening man!
