The snare was brought down a bit & re-eq'd plus made a few mix tweaks.. Thanks Gary, everyone seems to prefer the b mix so it's now the working mix.

I sometimes center it a bit more for solos..I also love the old school fusion mixes like Fred on Tony Williams' Believe It lp..Holldsworth & Pasqua ripping through solos hard-panned.

Thanks Paul, nice of you to say.. I adjusted all the track eq's, replaced the one of the verbs & 2 bus eq plus changed the 2 bus comp style. On the master instead of Ozone I used Acustica's OPAL & a b/w limiter.

I'll check it out, the snare is slamming on this track & my ears might be fatigued from working on it.. I haven't checked it on different systems yet, only my monitors. Hi jack, I like tune just need to get the mix sounding better. When I have problems mixing (which is every tune) I usually start with the basics - drums & bass. Keep 'plugin' away...

Cool tune. Minor nitpick but you might want to play with a light amount of quantization with a swing feel on the piano, it feels slightly pushed. You could also try pushing the piano track back about 10-20 ticks or so. But yeah, really enjoyed it.
