  1. Come on Larry, no second prizes here 😁
  2. Awesome, the sound the feel, the definition, of course it will be different for everyone, the guitars, the plugin chain/s, the level going in etc, etc. But for me so far, tomorrow is going to be a good day, it's 12.58 am, I'll have to shut down for the night and get some sleep, I want to be fresh for tomorrow, and there are just so many things I am loosing because I am not recording, I don't want to be conscious of loosing anymore. It's so damn inspirational, loving it to death, worth every penny. Well done IK and all involved, you've done an excellent job imo 👍 Thank You, just the kind of thing I wanted for my 60th Birthday (just gone by 09/02/64) I hope everyone gets the pleasure I am getting. 👍👍👍

  5. Even the Waves people must eat. I'm not ashamed to say that I am a huge Waves fan, awaiting the next plugin, hopefully free again to Mercury 😁
  6. I'd say not, and would be willing to bet on it. I've owned it since 3 I think always updating with hopes that the next one would bring joy, but alas . . . With regards to selling 5 or 6, I would give them away, I'd have to look into it because I owned them outright until I purchased Komplete Standard I don't know if it was 13 or 14, and I looked into selling that but apparently I can't. I'm not sure what happens to the status of the GR license now, I'd have to look, but the NI website has always been unfriendly to me, glad I don't use any NI products, for the life of me after getting Komplete Standard whatever version it was, I can't understand all the hoohaa around it, as I said I looked into selling it but it seems I'm stuck with it
  7. He's always pretty fast with the fixes, thanks for the notification 👍
  8. I purchased this at release, it's still a bit of an odd duck to me, but I keep plugging away with it every now and then, one day the light may shine, like I can hear it, but . . .
  9. Yeah the plugin certainly has it's issues, similar in Studio One Pro 6, do you mind if I use your supplied info along with my own to report it to Saverio ?
  10. Hi, no you've got the bull by the tail, I have no problems activating. Some people in this thread were saying you could activate previous versions, others were saying you can't because the servers were shut down or changed what have you, so I decided to find out for myself, and the result is that you certainly can activate them. So someone has been telling porky pies with regards the situation at hand.
  11. At the risk of being labelled a spreader of misinformation . . . again 😲, . . . As I'm not a Cakewalk/SONAR user since 2015, I thought I'd give it a shot myself, being not familiar with the install file numbers and the version number you get in the help screen, as far as I know I installed and authorized 2022.11. Cakewalk_by_BandLab_Setup_28.11.0.013.exe is the file I installed, after activation it shows in the help dropdown 'version 2022.11 (Build 013, 64bit). As to do with version numbers I don't know if I installed and activated the right version to prove or disprove the argument, but there you go. There was no issue installing or activating. Where you Cactus Music came to that error screen where you seemingly couldn't go past in your last attempt , I believe if you sign in to your Bandlab account in a web browser, it should be no problem to continue on and activate. [Edit] I forgot, I hit the 'Refresh Activation' or whatever it is in the Help whatever menu, anyhow it activated quite easily..
  12. That would be the ticket I would think, see it once and have a tick box that says 'Never see this again' or something of the kind.
  13. Ah I see said the blind man to his deaf friend. How am I spreading misinformation? the only thing I have said about it was my question about the update files in your pic? I have not claimed it is possible or anything of the kind, how am I spreading misinformation, please?
  14. With regards to the popup dodad, I personally don't don't think it should be removed, but another added at the end, when you go to exit out you get hit with another popup just in case you have forgotten the firsts message whilst working away, no? I think that would be a good idea.
  15. I'm not sure I understand correctly, why don't you remove/uninstall the latest version from your computer and try to install a FULL version of an older release, I see you there messing around with 'update' exe's, 50mb or so, and of course they will want to see something they can update, again I'm not sure I understand what you are doing with the 'update' exe's. ?
  16. I went through a patch recently where my posts had to be approved 🤐
  17. For the Thermionik stuff I think you have to sign up to the new web site as a starter, if I'm recalling correctly, when I went through it way back it was no drama to get all my stuff anyway, I think it was just there come to think of it, idk. Back then I had all the Thermionik stuff, ReCabinet, and KClip there was no issue with authorizing the stuff. After it went eol, when you downloaded the zip it contained a file which read Can't get much easier than that, apart from no protection at all, It's not reliant on anything outside your computer, apart from Windows shutting you down somehow (which is unlikely) they will just keep on running and having the ability to re auth completely in house for a very long time.
  18. I certainly agree with a lot of what you said there, especially the need for each to demo it first, and that goes for pretty much all plugins/software. The above of course I do not adhere to myself 😁I purchased the 3 pack, my personal opinion would rate this below TONEX in sound/tone and feel. The only place I would say it was better was in the fact that it was more 'amp like' in that like amp sims we are used to you can adjust all controls just like a real amp, as apposed to the static like capture deal. Although I find you 'can' adjust the controls in TONEX without being sent to a tonal hell as they first put in to our heads. Various 3rd party capture vendors actually encourage it, so, whatever works I guess, and the old "If it sounds good, it is good" applies. I have TONEX MAX and an extensive collection of 3rd party capture packs, and I derive my opinion from my all up experience with TONEX, where with packs like those from Amalgum where the captures in a pack go from Clean to Mean somewhat negate 'seemingly' not having amp like access to the amps controls, and that with no qualms adjusting dials if I feel, or adjusting tonal and volume/gain aspects of the final sound with the guitars own controls or input strength elsewhere in the chain, I feel that the TONEX sound and feel stands atop of a growing tree. I've had some HiGain captures which I got great tones for other genres than metal, edge of breakup, rock tones. Any way this is all my own opinion, and as with all opinions they are just that, opinions, none wright or wrong in the absolute.
  19. Just that you don't seem to be able to actually buy it yet. It seems you can go through the motions at JRR, at Overloud site you can't even do that. In time I guess, but would be nice to have it all ready when the but it signs go up.
  20. Sorry no, not a Cakewalk user since 2015.
  21. True Iron, True Dynamics, True 252, Synth Warmer, KClip 3 all updated, no issues. Windows 10 Pro, way out of date Studio One Pro 6, up to date Although it's not my regular, I use it for things like this only, REAPER 7.0.2, I doubt up to date, but no issues either.
