  1. My local baker always has a soft roll out, I have half a dozen on permanent order for Thursday night's, Hot Dog Night🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭
  2. I've been going mad trying to find this post where the dude puts it better than I could, but I was looking on the wrong site, I was looking and looking, going off my tree, then the penny dropped It's a little long, and I guess in 'jibba jabba' territory, but seeing as it's not actually me, I'm fine It was all sparked off by the 'cryfest' comment, but the dude is far better than me with words, and covers it mostly. https://gearspace.com/board/showpost.php?p=16968211&postcount=72
  3. It's practically all there, and available at other 3rd party vendors, https://www.jrrshop.com/presonus?dir=desc&order=special_from_date it's as you were for us perpetual License people, it is all good on the home front 👍
  4. and now it appears a new store is in the works, but apparently not ready yet, and the 3rd party bit was a stop gap measure, whatever . . .
  5. It looks like things could be turning, or perhaps were originally meant to be that way but poorly communicated, I'll go with the former. With regards to Studio One addons, they wont be available only to subscribers, they will be available to all but not through the PreSonus shop, for non subscribers they will be made available via 3rd party means. I have withdrawn my knee jerk reaction to dump Studio One, and will stick it out and see how things pan out, there are just to many things I don't want to leave behind, many of which can't be found elsewhere and/or in the way they are implemented in Studio One, and the workflow is just unmatched imo.
  6. You might just find it's a little bit more than that. I own practically everything there is to own that is worth owning, everything I want. How will you be when you go to buy your upgrade to Studio One 7, when the only way to do it is via Subscription? Beware at the fair.
  7. Beware at the fair. I was a HUGE Studio One fan, that all has come to an end with the release of this and recent maneuvers by PreSonus. After 9 years away I'm coming back to Cakewalk\Sonar, sad really, so many things left behind. If it doesn't work out with Sonar, I'll give REAPER another try, I left it the same time I jumped ship from SONAR Platinum, sort of a 2 for 1 thing going on.
  8. Well well well, I'll be purchasing Sonar today, shortly in fact, after what PreSonus has just pulled I'm afraid that's it for Studio One for me, so it's either Sonar or REAPER for me, I'll take a shot with Sonar first I still got all my files for all my stuff for SONAR Platinuim and x3, and installation stuff all the way back to ProAudio 9,so if worst comes to worst I got something to fall back on but i'm sure Sonar or REAPER will see me through to the end, only a few years to go.
  9. I thought about doing that, but I'd always forget, so I just leave it be.
  10. What I quoted, is what it says on the site where you click the button to buy it. So clearly it DOES! "But clearly half truths and agitation do not elevate the forum. " Indeed anyway, it is no longer any concern to me, hope you get it sorted should you choose to want to purchase
  11. I think I was getting confused/mixes up with the plugs that come with certain versions like that Vocal plug, which you had to either install the older version of Cakewalk/SONAR, or at the very least run the installer and select what you wanted from there.
  12. Yeah but as pwal pwal pointed out on 'Beyond My DAW', the first 100 pages were for operation, and the next 1800 for workarounds. "Can't open CbB projects" but I beleive it can go the other way? if so someone who was travelling and used it to sketch out an idea may find it useful later on to get it back into Sonar? "You have nothing to loose by signing up for the 3 day demo" Yes I thought of that, but I have pretty much decided not to bother, and if I need a second DAW for any reason I'll go with REAPER. Studio One is and will be for the foreseeable future my number 1 DAW, no intentions of changing that.
  13. Yes, I think most of us realize that Next is not Sonar There may be some uses for next for some, a quick sketch pad for when you are traveling etc, who knows what use it may be for some, it may/does suit some different 'Genres'? The OP may be interested in having both, who knows, some may want it for certain features such as the stem separation etc etc, I was just pointing the option out to him.
  14. I thought it was pretty clear, it states "$10.99 on first month, Then $14.95 per month" with a similar thing for the Yearly Sub.
  15. What I think you were saying about the discount being for the first of ' ' then changing back after that. Or I have just missed the boat completely and am drowning in a sea of misunderstanding. 12.30am here, I'm of to get some sleep, big day tomorrow. Have a good one 👍
  16. Yeah I mentioned about that in my post above.
  17. I night be wrong here, but if it still like it has been, that you had to have different installations of different versions of Cakewalk/SONAR in order to have your previously purchased Cakewalk plugs show up in the latest version of Cakewalk/Sonar, in this case Cakewalk Sonar and Cakewalk Next. Forgive me if this is already the case, but why can't it be that all you have to do is install Cakewalk Next and/or Cakewalk Sonar, then via them or the Manager have your owned plugins installed rather than have to install or run umpteen different Cakewalk/SONAR versions in order to have then available. Would be nice, I own all the plugs, I still have Dimension Pro, Rapture, Rapture Pro, Z3TA 2 installed, but I removed the various versions of Cakewalk/SONAR and all the plugs etc years ago, back in 2015. It would be good to not have to do the old install or run various versions of Cakewalk/SONAR again to get the rest of the plugs. I hope I have made sense and if it has already been taken care of, just delete the thread, thanks. I think I was getting confused/mixes up with the plugs that come with certain versions like that Vocal plug, which you had to either install the older version of Cakewalk/SONAR, or at the very least run the installer and select what you wanted from there.
  18. might be referring to the 'Membership', 'Backstage Pass', thing where you can get it Monthly or Yearly, Monthly being the one of concern here? just a guess.
  19. While all the above are the correct answer, there is another one to think about, at present you can have them both for a year st s discount of 30%, either $10.99 for the first month the $14.99 for the remaining 11, or $104.99 for the first year, then $149.50 for any further year/years you choose to continue. You can cancel at anytime, but you best read up the terms etc if you decided to go down this path. You basically get both Cakewalk Next and Cakewalk Sonar and a heap of extras, 'perks' that may or may not be of interest to you. https://blog.bandlab.com/bandlab-membership/ I think that will get you there, how long the 30% discount lasts I know not.
  20. That's well done 👍
  21. Now you're getting it, This one shows promise father, we should award him access to the REAPER Forums His access to the Cakewalk Forums is looking a little on the shaky side however. . . 'be sure to issue him with a pair of industrial strength eye protection, don't want to ruin his eye sight' 'that's OK Father, he is a MeldaProduction user, he'll have that sorted already'
  22. Well these folk would have from now until it happens, so I think the time to learn oneself about the pending doom would be more than one week, at some point it must be on the users shoulders to take responsibility, especially as it is not going to be a sudden event, yes, no? [Having said that I guess that I wouldn't agree that it was a sneaky thing to do, I don't know.
  23. If my presumption is correct, and I'm just going on what has been discussed previously, I believe so to all your situations, I'm thinking it would be similar to the SONAR Platinum Membership/Subscription whatever, as has been discussed by the powers that be in various threads earlier. But of course it's all in the future yet, so in the words of Doris Day Qué será, será Whatever will be, will be The future's not ours to see Qué será, será What will be, will be
