  1. That's what I heard. If you were being paid, don't quit your day job. You won't make a living at it.
  2. Are you shilling the PSA? And yes Groucho was right. I was interviewing for a job once and the HR guy said "we would like to have you come and work for us". I said, "the only thing I would like to consider a bit is do I want to come and work for some one who would hire someone like me". He said "we've lowered our standard considerably just by interviewing you and we think you should meet us halfway". I said, " I'm not exactly sure what that means but see ya Monday"
  3. Here is how I do SD3: pick a preset, tweak it a bit, put Manic Depressor on it, fart with it a bit until I get a big crap eating grin on my face and then move on to the accordion solo.
  4. When I hear people talk about EZ Keys being limited, most the time it sounds like they really don't know what it can do. You're not limited by your own imagination just getting to know it. Take a 8 bar clip, hit random and see if you like any of it. If you do save that part and go random again. There are really good tutorials at Groove3 with Eli Kranzberg. These will give you a good basic knowledge of what you can do.
  5. Good ideal, I like that in EZ Drummer. That would let clips morph into another feel or even genre. I hope they really hit it out of the park when they do it. SD3 still amazes me.
  6. My hope for EZ Keys 2, whenever that might happen, is full control over left hand and right hand. I would like to have a whole library of left hand only. Insert only left hand, or right. It should be very easy to mix left hand from one pack and right from another.
  7. Koby is rock solid. One of the top 2 reasons to buy at everyplugin. Lowest price (almost always) is the other.
  8. Lots of good stuff. Lots of Waves. Two months free in the middle of winter? I'm in
  9. I know it's not Adaptiverb, but Wormhole is worth it just for the reverb.
  10. That is a very good price for those. Thay are not limited at all. Most of the packs (the good ones at least) are not genre specific enough to cause a problem. Latin and Boogie would be, but most of the others, no. My favorite is still Gospel and you can use it anywhere. You dont have to only use 1 pack with any one song you're doing. Being a guitar player I am a "one hand wonder" and I use EZ Keys to build the song. Often take out the right hand with midi editing in the DAW and play some right hand into it. You can copy the left hand onto another track and use it for bass guitar. There are some very good tutorials at Groove3 with Luke Oswald building songs with EZ Keys and EZ Drummer. It would be worth 1 months subscription to study those. You can use change the voicing for chords, change notes in the chords. I would not be afraid it would sound like someone else's song. The jazz are pretty much jazz but most the others could be used for anything no matter what genre you are in. Most are just rock and pop. Listen to the demos see what sounds usable to you.
  11. How are you doing down there, Grem? Did any of the trouble get to you?
  12. Let us know when that comes out. I'll be all over that.
  13. The Toontrack keys sound very present to me. I like that. You can still mix them back if you want. The old Native Instruments electrics sounded less present or not as loud. If you dont have any electrics you really like, these would be a good buy at the price. LL is modeled and these are sampled, Mesh. I really like LL and AAS stuff in general. That's hard to compare those 2. I still use Lounge Lizard Session but I get temped every Christmas to take the $49 plunge for the upgrade.
  14. One of the ReMatrix Expansions is $29.19 after using ReMatrix owner discount code that is with your products in the user or personal account area.
  15. I haven't decided between ReLive and Imagined Spaces. I already have Paterno. I didnt hear about the TC pedal 2 for $75. That would have been hard to stay away from. I love their pedals. You and Grem should like the Toontrack Dream Machine. I really like it. and the Dream Pop EZX. If anyone has a recommendation on ReMatrix expansions I would love to hear it. The Paterno is a good mix of in studio verbs.
  16. AAS Ultra Analog VA-3 upgrade $35 taters. Might...might get an EastWest TriplePlay midi pack. Since they were extended through December a ReMatrix expansion pack. Not much at all. Still more than I needed.
  17. You old Maag Snagger, you.
  18. Loved it. Except the "His gas will make us free" kinda got the turkey and stuffing rumbling pretty good. I think I'm going to need to be off line for a while.
  19. Good price, good loops and lots for the money. Some twice as many as Toontrack.
  20. Well, the mommy has String Studio and Chromosome and Ultra Analog and the daddy only has String Studio and Chromosome. So after an evening of wine tasting down at the gas station, after the Sommelier screws the cap back on the last bottle, the daddy starts to get some ideas...
