  1. Yeah, the fact that this is all on one patch, and with no keyswitching is suspicious.
  2. I appreciate that you're trying to bring deals to me, but saying that it doesn't take much money isn't going to cause the money I need to make the purchases to magically appear on my lap. Besides, any money that comes my way is going to towards helping a friend not die from a spider bite.
  3. That's just wrong. I don't have the kind of money or tools to mitigate the risk.
  4. I have never heard an Imogen Heap song before, but thanks anyways!
  5. Thank you! That was a really nice aleatoric violin loop included with Cinematrix. In fact that whole Kontakt instrument and the fact that I was writing this in 7/8 are responsible for a lot of the unconventional decisions I've made for this track. I then added 2 Bass patches from Ultra Analog VA-3, two of my own design, one arpeggiated and the other manually scored for some low end reinforcement, and another one of my own keyboard patches for the bell-like riff at the middle. A lot of side-chains were involved to make the spaces fit. Thank you both kindly!
  6. Upgrading from Win 7 always carries a risk, and I don't want to end up bricking something that is mission critical.
  7. Ahh yes, allow me to just pull a Windows 10 PC out of my ***** with money I don't have, just to use software. Brilliant.
  8. An Industrial Cinematic Progressive Ambient theme for an underground mine where death does not happen, and the miners just continuously fall apart without stopping. I used Cinematrix and Ultra Analog VA-3 https://metapop.com/valerie-grimaude-valens/tracks/descent-into-madness/117564
  9. You have made the right choice
  10. They already have some good freebies kicking around for Kontakt Full, so good find!
  11. While I got Ultra Analog VA-3 mainly for the sound design aspect, having extra presets to work with is always good! Thanks AAS!
  12. Reverb just tends to mud the sound if applied too liberally. If you can find the ADSR settings, you can increase the release time.
  13. I do like Dennis and his stuff. I am really glad he's still kicking around.
  14. Oh wow, the new freebie looks neat! Thanks for the heads up!
  15. Product Page : http://rigid-audio.com/products_sore.html This seems to be another Rigid Audio Cinematic Loop Underscoring instrument using the same engine as Cinematrix. I wonder how it is going to be distinguished from it, considering that its interface looks exactly like that of Cinematrix.
  16. Finally got it! I am gonna have a lot of fun with this!
  17. I think I may have found a close match, it's a patch from the DSF Classic Keys, under Atmospheres called Synth Jumper. I also went ahead and made custom versions with more modulations on the Jupiter 8 layer, and with an extra Grand Piano layer added. It should work, provided you own the DSF Classic Keys expansion. 18. Yeah, I agree that the demo really isn't a pure representation of the instrument, but I can assure you, it's clean DI.
  19. I have tried that before, and it didn't work. While it did eventually kill Cakewalk, the ASIO drivers are still occupied and will not be available after a relaunch.
