Thanks for the ears, like many things when one uses Modular synths somethings are not always quite under your control as you would like. The Pan is controlled by an extremely slow LFO, (Low Frequency Oscillator) which in turn is being controlled but a slow LFO. So the speed fo the Panning varies over time and over playback to playback. It probably does not help that there are two parts plying the lead voice one is panned the other is not. Again thanks for your time and ears it is really appreciated and I am glad you enjoyed it.

@Grem and @Lynn Thank you both glad you enjoyed it. Interesting on the AD 2 MIDI packs Michael but I only have a few of those. SD 3 comes with a plethora of MIDI and I have weakened in to a couple of other packs and SDX's. The MIDI that comes with Orchestral SDX is quite interesting as it has a section of drumming rudiments., which can be used and repurposed on different kits.
  4. As you have stated it is a rough I am ignoring your own mix comments @Amicus717 Musically/compositional it would appear to achieve its objective, it has some tension as if there is some more to come whilst inviting one in to explore.

Cool groove, which reminds a little of the Big Man himself John Martin on Cooltide. Nice bit of afternoon grooving. @mark skinner

Not my thing to be honest, @garybrun but you have done a good job on this.

Thank you Paul, superior Drummer 3 Ayotte default kit 1884 Mbytes I think, my DAW is PC is not running at the moment, it might have been a Rooms of Hansa kit though, I will check and get back to you. I then use Boz Digital's Dave Bendeth +10dB Compressor acting as a Buss compressor.

Thank you sir you are most kind well with some 450 gigs of SD 3 drum samples now they might put in a bit more an appearance.

    Celtic Electra

@Starise, that is quit pleasant Tim, I agree that there is some harshness but I think it is in the slightly more percussive piccolo? type wind instrument than the underlying flute towards the end of the tune other than that is is a very pleasant and relaxing tune.

Yeah it is OK actually I got some of the Bass line by using the Linking software Toontrack provide (Audio Sender) needs some work afterwards but it works. Thanks for the ears and the time.
  18. But it does not stop unofficial ones being branched, then Bandlab lose what they have paid for. Perhaps that is a good reason for it not being open source the fact that Bandlab purchased the rights to the software.
  19. I know drums are not a thing with surf, it is more about hats and snare but I would like to hear the kick just a tad more @freddy j. Other than that a new side to you I quite enjoyed perhaps back off the delay a tad as it can get a little messy in places.

    Together

Pleasant little tune Douglas, I do wonder if it just wanders on a little to long I did listen to the end.
  21. Pleasant enough little ditty made my furry ears smile, which is always a good thing, cheeky little reference at the end.

    Touch

    Slick, nothing to say but
  23. Nice enough tune sung with some emotion, for me far to much reverb and or slap-back on the vocal, but is your tune and your mix. Thanks for sharing.
  24. Open source means the potential for hundreds of different versions no thanks.
