Hi xouvang and welcome to the Cakewalk forums. Have you created a crash dump file? As for all other apps being muted, you can change your driver mode to WASAPI Shared (under Preferences > Audio > Playback and Recording > Driver Mode, see below). Kind regards, tecknot

Output issue with cakewalk regardless of driver
tecknot replied to Michael Finnity's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Hi Michael, That error message has nothing to do with driver mode or any update, but merely you have buses that are not assigned to an output. In this instance you can assign all of the buses to the Master which then should be routed to your interfaces' output (your speakers). If you don't have an interface, then the Master should be routed to your PC's sound card (speakers). Kind regards, tecknot -

Vertical scrolling not working like it does in Sonar Platinum
tecknot replied to C. Glen Smith's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Hi gsmith, Vertical scrolling with mouse wheel is working here. Wish I can make a video but I don't have the software for it. Kind regards, tecknot -
I see, thanks again Will. I did notice that the Smart Tool is disabled when pressing "Z", but as I continue to zoom in the snap value increases up to one sample. It also decreases as I zoom out. That seems like a potential problem depending on your workflow. If Snap just turned off (which it doesn't on my machine) then that wouldn't be a big problem. Kind regards, tecknot

Well, now that you are back... Is there a short cut to return from the dual zoom?
-
Hi Will, Sure you were, when you stated you were done with Cakewalk. Thanks for the tip. I checked the keyboard short cuts and the manual, but I didn't see this. Kind regards, tecknot

Okay, thanks!

Hi Steve, Your link above opens up this same thread. Was that intentional? Kind regards, tecknot

I Will and welcome back. Yes! How did you do that? Kind regards, tecknot

I would like the ability to zoom in both horizontally and vertically at the same time (like zooming in the Staff View). If there is a trick to it and I am missing it, please enlighten me. If you would like this feature in CbB, then please leave a comment or react to this post. Kind regards, tecknot

Hi DallasSteve, I guess it depends on your system's resources. If you are taxing your PC hard then freezing may let off some demands, which is the purpose of freezing. So, you may or may not need to freeze any tracks. Kind regards, tecknot

Hi sjoens, Seems Ben (or someone at Cakewalk) changed the graphic. For what reason I can only guess. Which design do you prefer? I am sure it can be changed in the Theme Editor. Kind regards, tecknot P.S. disregard if my response is just stupid irrelevant.

Cakewalk not showing all plugin menu layouts
tecknot replied to Ricky Wayne Hunt's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Hi Ricky, Is it possible that you saved your layout in a different directory (other than, C:\Users\computer's name\AppData\Roaming\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core\Plug-in Menu Layouts)? Kind regards, tecknot -
Hi Onegin and welcome to the Cakewalk forums. Have you tried raising your buffer setting to 512? Kind regards, tecknot

Sonar 8.5 Producer: Cakewalk TTS Loses Connection
tecknot replied to Annabelle's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
According to Steve: The TTS1 in 64-bit SONAR is 64-bit. I guess that means that the version in SONAR 8.5 is 64-bit. My apologies for the misinformation. Kind regards, tecknot
