  1. It DOES require Kontakt 7. Sonokinetic rep confirmed that (on VI) NI gave them "a deal" on serials if they made it v7 only. Hence the unlimited freebie. Works with the FREE Kontakt 7 player, which I understand will live next to earlier Kontakt versions. ?
  2. Loopcloud has updated to version 7 BUT apparently if you are a free user, the desktop app no longer works at all. See below. I let my sub lapse in October because I didn't use it enough. The app is pretty great if you are heavily into loops and samples, and don't mind paying a subscription. If I recall correctly, version 5 was completely free and version 6 kept the good features behind a paywall. Now V 7 is subscription only. They say you can still access your owned content from a web page. Following is a snip from the Loopcloud update notes. Update with caution if you still use the desktop app. In the past they deleted older versions from their download offers, so if you don't already have the V6 installer, you might never get it back. Note bold line (emphasis mine, and they conveniently leave this out of their blog announcement) at the end. Important: Read about the major changes in Loopcloud 7 in our blog article Version 7 Loopcloud 7 features a major visual overhaul and many performance enhancements. Users now start on a search landing page, showing them instrument categories they can start their search with, or buttons to see all packs or collections. Users can click on one of the circle buttons to start their search, or use the search bar. The home page is now Explore. This is where users can go to discover new releases, the current bestsellers, curated label and genre packs, and packs for DRUM and PLAY. The Explore page now features two new rows - What's Hot, and Label Focus. The search results experience, including Tag Suggestions for instruments, to help the user filter down their search to a more specific tag, content types to prompt the user to choose either Loops or One Shots, and genres. The genres shown in the tag suggestions are based on what the user commonly searches for, to help personalise their search. Search results are now separated by tabs, so users can decide whether they want to see results from the Store, content from their Library, whole packs, or collections containing content they've searched for. If users want to see all the tags available to them, they can click on the Tags Sidebar, which will show all tags in a tree view. We've introduced the mini editor, which will be the default for all users until they decide they need the additional functionality of the full editor. This allow users to reclaim valuable screen real estate, while still being able to preview their single file or full mix with the core functionality of Loopcloud. The full editor has had a visual overhaul. We've moved some options to the menus in the top-left of the app, nested tools that don't all need to be seen at once, and removed some visual elements that aren't necessary. The Loopcloud desktop app is no longer available to use for non-subscribers. Purchased sounds and packs will still be available to download from sounds.loopcloud.com/library/, however all in-app features will be disabled for free users. Removed the legacy 'blue' theme, and set the 'Neutral Dark' theme as the default.
  3. Bummer!- Looking through some past posts on KVR, it appears that they don't necessarily reward their better customers. I wonder what the underlying formula is. I was not even aware that they offered a discount for Anthology to plug-in owners. When I went to their site (in the past and today) , and logged in, the price shown is $599. The "Check Upgrade Price" link is off the bottom of the scroll.
  4. I kinda wrote this off because $599 is still pretty rich. Then made the mistake of logging in and seeing my upgrade price (for Anthology 12) is $269. I only have four of the plugs and got them free or on past sales. Blackhole is amazing. Resizable GUI's you say? Time to research and talk myself out of it. Yeah, that's what I'll do. ?

  6. I appreciate the update notice posts on this forum! Kinda bugs me how many publishers don't email notices but tend not to miss sales solicitations. True, most pop up an "update available" notice when you run the plug-in, but it takes me out of "the flow" to quit the DAW, install, reload, etc. Love Cableguys BTW. Fun toys.
  7. You should send a note to AAS support. They were very responsive to me when I accidentally picked "the wrong" pack for my annual freebie a year or two ago. CSR noted that I had duplicates in my packs and offered to also give me new choices for them (which I accepted, of course). They were units of Humble packs that I wrote off as "worth it" for the other titles included. Very good experience.
  8. Geez- There is some janky stuff on that DLsite. Anything to save a buck though. I put "Synthesizer V" in the search box after taking a very wrong turn.
  9. It has actually been up on the site for a few days. I got 10% off a couple days back. Pretty sure I have received the 10% every time he's put the wheel up, as opposed to Spitfire's "Spin to Win" that gave me bupkis every time.
  10. Sorry about that @ZincT I had the minimum in the title but added it to the body just now. I went with both of those and the Dual Delay Plus. I am just a total sucker for delays. Gas Plus for me ?
  11. Use coupon SNOW at checkout. MINIMUM ORDER before coupon is $79. This stacks with the current 30% off sale that ends Dec 5. Example: Dual Delay and Thorus in the basket for $41 each (sale price). After coupon $62 total. https://www.uvi.net/
  12. General - Fixed audio glitch when a Snapin with latency was placed in a bypassed group. - Fixed "Add Location" button in windowed browsers closing the window instead of doing anything. - Fixed parameter value tooltips getting stuck on screen, and broken undo/redo. Snap Heap & Multipass - Fixed automations not working properly when an automation slot is bound to to a knob in the Snapin version of the UI. Phase Plant - Fixed noise oscillator having a bad range for the stereo knob. - Fixed broken about screen. Nonlinear Filter - Fixed bode plot disappearing for some particular parameter ranges.
  13. Far be it for me to encourage your EW patronage, but I believe the guys who wrote the MIDI engine for HOOPUS Orchestrator are the folks who did Sonuscore's "The Orchestra" series. Imaging applying that amazing scripting to 900 gigs of deep sampled variety. But I do think it will be on sale again (if this one ever ends I follow the HOOPUS thread on VI and someone from EW "with knowledge" teased that something new was coming for HOOPUS. I would not be surprised (considering this sale) if it is a paid upgrade or add-on.
  14. I went through something similar to abacab when I built a new system two years ago. I thought I de-authed my iLok but there was a SNAFU. iLok info said I should get all my licenses re-set after only one publisher re-set, and ALMOST all of them did fairly quickly. I had a few Air titles that wouldn't work, even though they were supposed to allow 2 auths, and I only used one. Anyway, they finally reset them- six months later. I wasn't using the ones I lost, and I forgot about them until the email came.
  15. I stumbled on this site today. Could not find mention here, but maybe I missed it. Limited price history and vendors. AFFILIATE LINKS used. Please don't shoot the messenger. I don't make money any more, I just spend it. https://www.plugin-pusher.com Looks pretty, but does not appear to be nearly as deep as:
  16. I am not listing prices because it messes with my denial. Reveal Sound Spire synth + 500 preset bundle Synapse Audio Dune 3 Dawsome Novum UJAM Synth bundle Completed patch lib for AAS 3 Unify packs Audio Imperia Nucleus + free Lite series Nucleus/Areia/Chorus Audio Imperia Solo Audiofier Pragmabeat Cable Guys Shaper Bundle Upgrade Devious Machines Infiltrator 2 Reason+ sub Audiothing Bubbles, Melda Mtransient and some other freebies
  17. LOL! Yeah I caught it right after I posted. That is when I proofread. Blame Lars for getting the jump on me too often ?
  18. JRR Shop in the cart with "group". Got this tip from the big Premjj VI thread. Several resellers have it on sale. This is NOT an upgrade/crossgrade. If you dabble with orchestral I dare say - BUY IT. Keep in mind- 900 Gigs. Not sure how long the sale will last (Dec 4?) or which resellers are currently offering it! https://www.soundsonline.com/orchestral/hollywood-orchestra-opus-edition
  19. Even if you don't score an extra discount, I think Skippy and Shane would appreciate the direct purchase. I bought Unify on release and have watched a bunch of Skippy's YT videos. I feel that they are both genuine "good guys" and worthy of support. Considering it has been .. two years? since release, Shane keeps packing features into Unify, now at version 1.9. I thought they would have gone to version 2 a year ago to get some upgrade $. Anyway- all the updates have been free to 1.0 buyers. ?
  20. That's the one that caught my eye, but wonder if the dev is still supporting it. There were some comments over on KVR that customers with questions never heard back. I guess if it works, then it's not an issue. There is a free version on the Lunatic site called Narcotic Microdose. A link for it is at the bottom of the page, but you need to create an account.
  21. ** If you want to wait for APD to post the 4-hour deals, don't look ** Link to VI post https://vi-control.net/community/threads/live-now-november-black-friday-cyber-monday-deals-2022-edition.131829/post-5236804
  22. Thanks! I have a few of their libraries that I like. I passed on Pragmabeat when it released and have been waiting for a sale. Gonna do some checking ✔️ ? $39 at Audiofier, $32.76 at JRR with "group"

    Logitech sale

I don't care for Logitech, but I have been using a similar design "vertical mouse" for a couple years now and it is a real wrist-saver for me. I would never be able to go back to the flat ones. It probably took me a couple weeks of having both mice available until I committed to it. <edit> <- That is my mouse in the profile pic
  24. It is a confusing. It appears that you need a custom invoice from AI support no matter how you go about it, so probably best to send them a request for the items you want and see if that looks like a worthwhile deal to you. To me it looks like you would get the three lites for $150, Nucleus for $75 via the Lite credit, then you are still another $199 for the Jaeger via crossgrade price, so about $424 total ?
  25. Yeah, he noted in the VI thread that he was trying to keep up with email requests. It appears that they do have to generate a custom invoice manually. Hope they accommodate you. Report back here please. I keep telling myself I don't need more orchestral goodies but my YouTube account has been veering into AI demos lately. I have been eying AI soloist library since it released.
