Tone Empire Soul Squash Compressor Pedal Plugin FREE! Normally $39USD
Soundwise replied to PavlovsCat's topic in Deals
It's not a bad sounding plugin, however, there's nothing special about it. I'm looking for a compressor plugin with a distinct click/pop sound on attack. Any suggestions? -
Got one and am about to sell it. Could be useful as an extension for key-switching, additional controls, etc, but not as the main controller.
-
That's how it worked for me 20 years ago. Les Paul replica into Korg Pandora to SoundBlaster and then Cakewalk Sonar with A4A driver. Those were the days, my friend!..

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz! I wonder why he does?
-
Turns out, it doesn't. You cannot get any keys from MS based on the SoS code. Activation can be redeemed only from within the newly installed OS. I've contacted support, and they say, that the code they give should be good for postponed redemption beyond 30 days, but after 30 days, you're no longer eligible for any assistance from them.
-
How's this supposed to work? Can I redeem the license without a new machine build and installing an OS? I'd like to have the license for the next PC build, which is planned for this summer. Is it possible to have this W11 license without attaching it to a machine?

Orange Tree Samples Evolution Boutique Acoustic at Intro Price
Soundwise replied to ralfrobert's topic in Deals
Not anymore. It's a bunch of samples with clever scripting. I'm considering either this or Telos by Impact Soundworks. Both are quite exquisite and should get the job done. -

Thanks for the tip! I'm pretty confident, most guitars are good for multiple genres. Like here: -

With seasoned players performing their fretboard wizardry OTS is going in the right direction. This and the Texas Twang are on my wish list. -
It's good to know, that Sonar is not abandoned and is about to get a fresh new start. Can hardly wait for the release! I do hope that this new Sonar will be just as stable and fast evolving as it used to be. Don't want to stir up any highly emotional discussion by comparing it to other DAWs, it's safe to say, that Sonar ticks all the boxes for me. Go Bakers!

I knew their "Wham! Bam! Thank you NAMM!" newsletter implied upcoming expenses!

FWIW, Iron 2 is essentially worse than the first version. I can shoot a video if needed, but for starters: 1. Samples are off the grid by dozens of milliseconds; 2. Samples are poorly performed; 3. Patterns trigger inconsistently. It's also bloated with unnecessary finishers and mediocre amp emulations, and presets are hardly usable. I think even at $19 it is overpriced. My 2¢.
-
You just enter a code, available in your user area. That's it. No email/password or special procedures required.

Iron 2 is only $19. https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/8111-IRON-2

I got myself the IronHeart for roughly 30 coins and couldn't be happier.

Try ROBARNOLD. This code gives customers 25%.

Any promo code?

That's a very good question! No one needs a gazillion of amps to write great songs. Just ask Brian May! In fact, you hardly even need an amp(sim) to do so. I can easily create usable guitar tones with just ProChannel modules. Fun fact - in the song "Revolution" by the Beatles, the distorted lead guitar sound was achieved by plugging the instruments directly into the recording console. Yet when it comes to gear collectors, they (should I say "we"?) always need one more.

Waves FREE Sample + MIDI Pack: Key Of Blue - from Touch Loops
Soundwise replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Not from Gospel Musicians either. -
I think free Prestige (1959 Marshall model) is very good, and coupled with the Britone Cab Pack is plain awesome.
-
I also have been thinking about getting it for the same reason. Then it dawned on me, that we can use any tape/console/preamp as the first effect and just enable built-in MixFX Console to handle Drive, Noise and Crosstalk. For tape processing I highly recommend Ferox or ReelBus - ToneBooster's v3 plugins, which are now free. CPU hit is virtually non-existent. PA channel strips are well-known for being CPU efficient. If you happen to have any of those, that support TMT - you're all set.
