  1. Thanks for the tip! Here's the video with Cory's custom presets:
  2. With the Synthwave Drums bundle you get both: The Modern 80’s Drum Kit for Halionsonic and Halion The brand new Claps Vault - POP with fully customizable claps for any modern production from Pop, Synthwave, Trap, R’n’B. The Claps Vault - POP comes both as a Halionsonic library AND as individual clap samples in Wav format. https://domsigalas.sellfy.store/p/synthwave-drums-bundle-by-dom-sigalas/

    BFD3 for $49

AFAIK, what is great about BFD3 drums is that they are meticulously sampled, don't have round robins for the same level of velocity, and use neighbor samples to simulate round robins, which essentially means, that you can program your drums, using your mouse or computer keyboard, or pattern editor and not worry about humanizing velocities afterward.
  4. I was on the verge of buying it, quite excited and inspired by online demos. Fortunately, I decided to test it before paying and was disappointed with some oscillating background artifacts (not sure if it's a correct way of describing it), audible at the signal decay. FWIW, I don't mind the overall tone feel a bit artificial, which is the case here, as it stands out in a good way in an otherwise traditional color palette.

  7. I'd love to hear your opinion on NI drums, like Abbey Road Drummers and Session Drummer.
  8. I think, SSD5 cost me around $50, and I recall seeing extensions for $29 at JRR, but that was long ago.
  9. They should work with your EZKyes 1. Just make sure to check system requirements for each library.
  10. I highly recommend Reaxis. Enormously versatile, capable of recreating easily recognizable legendary tones as well as dialing your own signature sound.
  11. I've been using it since v2. It's not the DAW, it's the set of mind I have. Oh, it's also some irritating bugs that turn me off.
  12. Upgrade, that's gonna last for ... how many? Six months? One year? That is, before the next major (paid) upgrade comes out. Still not convinced with the workflow. Anyway, the best price I've found so far: https://www.thomannmusic.com/presonus_studio_one_6_pro_ug_1_5_pro.htm?reload=1
  13. No clue, sorry. If this product is important, I'd suggest to carpe diem.
  14. Best Service have boosted the offer with a free product of your choice, which makes TT upgrades look a bit more attractive. Not sure if the same offer applies to other products, though.
  15. Or the other way around, since this thread is a bit more informative (includes extra discount code).
  16. Any idea how long this is going to last? Literally a week? I've been eyeing their Speaker Shaper plugin, hoping to get a better deal. $49 is acceptable but not very inspiring.
  17. Thank you! This software looks awesome. I just don't want to mess with myriads of IRs and that's the main reason why I want this plugin. Other than that, I'm all set with cab-sims. ?
  18. Finally got the Studio. For slightly over $80 it's an instant buy.
  19. More often than not it boils down to proper IRs. Amp-sims of major developers are in the ballpark. PA IRs never really impressed me. Some are usable at best, bust most of them don't deserve any attention. I suggest to try whatever amp-sims you have with other IRs first, before you decide to invest in a new toy plugin.
