O9A, in turn, doesn't beat some expensive outboard gear, which don't beat a professional mastering facility run by an outstanding mastering engineer. When it comes to perfection, sky is the limit. This plugin adds a unique 3D quality to OK sounding mixes. Great tool for instant mix polishing.

It depends on the signal level you feed it with. I keep my input level below -12dB. If that still is too hot, by all means bring it down. I find that plugin version of the Fuchs version of Dumble is closer to Vox than Dumble. TH-U has a decent ODS module and some nice Rig profiles as well, which I like a little more, than PA's ODS. Agreed!

It's a masterpiece! One of the best amp-sim plugins ever built. It was rather difficult to pick the second plugin to go with Train II. I tried Rockergain100 and Overdrive Supreme but wasn't impressed. Also Matcha, although decent, has a very limited functionality, i.e., no portamento, impossible to change pickups, etc.

Couldn't pass this by. Snatched Train II and MasterDesk. Quite a bargain for $25.

My favorite compressor. Don't miss this one.

This plugin is awesome! Arguably, the easiest way to shape low end of your mixes. I've always been struggling getting it right, now it's a breeze.
-
@Blades Thanks, I'll take a look.

How do you know you like it? And why? Right! You must've had some experience using it and got at least a general idea how this EQ is different from others. It can easily take weeks or months. No one's willing to spend this much time on each track. That's why we all need tutorials and howtos on basic to advanced sound processing.
-
What do you use it for, Zo? To my ears it sounds like a poorly designed or even a damaged circuit.

Three tones: Clean, Crunch and Lead in one preset. Use A, B and C buttons to switch settings. https://www.dropbox.com/s/wfph6kmfvojiruw/SW CleanCrunchLead.vstpreset?dl=0

Normally I record clean signal for further reamping, so in this case my chain is: Guitar->Tube DI-box->AI->DAW. Here's a recent example I quickly put together while demoing S1V (random noodling over some weird chords, so bear with my playing): https://disk.yandex.ru/d/SOLm1GR5ewSxFQ Let me know if you want my preset for E765RT.

ENGL E765 RT is awesome. One of my favorite amp-sims so far.

I'm such user. I rarely buy plugins or virtual instruments nowadays. Heck, even bundled plugins and instruments are often good enough to achieve any sound you can imagine.

Cakewalk needs a Humanize feature in the PRV
Soundwise replied to Arabic Dude's topic in Feedback Loop
Humanizing done right also shifts events' timing a little. -
Sounds good! I hope, this new system doesn't imply there is going to be a time period restriction for downloading presets.

Sampleson Collab3 crashes audio engine?
Soundwise replied to xtenkfarpl's topic in Instruments & Effects
It's a well-known bug. If you try to add TTS-1 to a project, already containing some other SoftSynth(s), you'll get a crash. -
Here is some DTR info. Is there any chance that Cakewalk will shut down?
Soundwise replied to Aloe Duke's topic in The Coffee House
To close it you need to bring up an IK discussion. -

50/50 means it either will or won't. I've no idea. You've asked for chances, so... -
Whatever brings more money is surely the right one. Business as usual.

Another licensed take on SLO-100. I recall Paul Reed Smith being thrilled about GTR3 back in the day. He "couldn't tell" the difference. Wonder, if IK's version will keep the label.

It may not work for those who spent less than $149 on Audiffied products.
