  1. Great 80's style song and sound! I'm not surprised that you were involved in this; I expect quality from you. I've just started doing the same thing in Next with some of my old tunes, and I'm very impressed with the quality, so far. If you've got more, I'd love to hear them.
  2. It's not easy to write a good Christmas song, and this is a good one! Congrats, Steve on a super production. Merry Christmas to you, too.
  3. I love the arrangement in this song; it takes unexpected turns and is dissonant in a very good way! The mix is very sophisticated and dense which is not easy to pull off. I've lately learned the value of widening my mixes so I appreciate the feedback you got, though this song can stand as is. I had a lot of fun listening to this.
  4. This song is as wide open as the country! Terrific!
  5. Kevin, this is on the road to becoming a brilliant song! Your vocals are haunting though not quite clear (at low volume), but regardless, terrific! I'm sure you'll get this right.

    THE WITCH

This is a great song, Steve. Your voice has a very ethereal quality that speaks to me. I don't remember this, so it is very fresh and chill. Keep 'em coming, my friend!

    Love in Time

You wrote a beautiful song, Rex! I, too, share your love of CW, and I'm constantly amazed at its proficiency. I'm looking forward to the next phase. Keep up the good work, and have a great holiday season!
  8. One of the hardest talents to attain is consistency. You've got that in spades! Good job, Nigel!
  9. Very dope! Wish I could dance~~~
  10. This happens to me sometimes, and when it does I bounce the clip to itself to regain the waveform. It might work for you.
  11. Terrific song, Barry! I do agree with John's evaluation about shortening the song, and the one thing that stood out to me was the high trumpet. I wonder if it might be more impactful if you did it an octave lower. It cuts through, but is weak in its delivery in spite of being loud. I say this as an ex trumpet player in a soul band (high school). Otherwise this is one to be proud of.
  12. Keith, your kind words are so welcome! I like your suggestion about the vocals. Had you been around, I may have tried that.
  13. The lycra idea is irresistible! I'm always game for game. Steve, how about a super trio? It could be the "Dazlyn Dilemma"? Or, the "Dazlyn Trifecta"! ?
  14. Steve, you may be on to something! I'm always open to new ideas. Here are the lyrics: When you stare into the sun, you’re looking in the past The future has begun, but it’s over way too fast You’ve got more questions than ever before You hear the answers, but you’re looking for more Please let me know if you’re going insane So much confusion is filling your brain You used to think that you knew it all, but you didn’t know that much Every empire has a reason to fall when they finally lose their touch Heaven knows what tomorrow will bring It comes and goes without leaving a thing It seems like every time you howl at the moon You’re not the only one who’s changing their tune You can’t sleep until the break of day (not to worry, not to worry) Sometimes your fears just won’t go away (not to worry, not to worry) Before you know it you begin to pray (not to worry, not to worry) How do you leave when you want to stay? (not to worry, not to worry) It may be time to believe in yourself unless you want to be alone You took your love and put it on the shelf, and now you’re reaping what you’ve sown You better hurry before it’s too late So many chances you’re leaving to fate If you hang on until the end of the line When you look back you’re gonna be fine Just starting over can take all your time (not to worry, not to worry) It’s so much harder stopping on a dime (not to worry, not to worry) You’ll go further if you just let go (not to worry, not to worry) You’ll still remember everything you know (not to worry, not to worry)
  15. I love this! It has an edge that cuts through the pablum. I'll be back for more.
  16. Wookie, I appreciate your time and furry ears! Your words are very encouraging! I had to look up the DT 100's, and I am interested in hearing them, so thanks for the reference. I may drop a note off to Santa
  17. Unselect all clips first by hitting ctrl-shift-A, then try lassoing that particular clip and hit delete on the keyboard, making sure it's the only clip selected. If you refer to the manual, you'll see that this isn't the only way, but effective.

    Talkin Bout

Let me join in the party! It seems your creativity knows no bounds. I'm amazed by your prolific output and insight into our daily lives. I'm hearing your vocals much better these days, and I really appreciate your work and dedication to your art. Keep it going!
  19. I've heard this song many times, but I never appreciated it as much as I do now. You nailed it, Ross!
