  4. That is spooky Starship! I have recently had a very similar experience having also got it and Instascale in a 2 fer a few months back. I got the Jazz and Blues presets from PluginBoutique last week which made me want to explore Instachord a bit more... It seems to me to be a way of simulating guitar strums or picking (although chords can also have notes played simultaneously) whilst selecting chords to pick or strum using single notes which you assign to chords. So the two columns in the top left part of the display titled Chords will select the chords listed (which can be changed by clicking on them or loading presets). These correspond to the two octaves on your keyboard labelled Chords A and Chords B. When you press any of these keys you are simply changing the chord and won't hear anything until you use the the keys in the octaves labelled Pick A and Pick B. These correspond to the Columns in the top right of the display. The actions for Picks A and B are listed in their relevant column which can also be changed by clicking on them. So by default when you play C in the Picks B octave (for me this defaults to Strum Down Fast 1 2 3) it will play the first 3 notes very quickly one after the other of whichever chord you have selected in Chords A or B. When you play the next note in the Picks B octave it will play notes 2 3 and 4 as a strum up fast and so on until you get to F# which plays a slow strum down for notes 1 to 5. You can change any of these actions by clicking on them. The Picks A octave allows you to play any of the 6 chord notes (kinda like guitar strings) plus a bass note. Like Picks B the actions can be changed. Have you worked out what the hold mode does? I cannot tell any difference between Pick and Pick+ modes and Fret mode makes no sound so not sure on that one. UPDATE: WA Production's website gives the following information for Hold Mode... This feature allows the fretting hand (chord changer keys) to control the sustain. So as long as the chord key is held down any note you play will ring out, just like a guitar or using a sustain pedal. Scroll down on this website for more information https://www.waproduction.com/plugins/view/instachord In all honesty I'm not sure how much use I will get out of this plugin and there are so many other variants which do something more akin to what I actually would use (Cthulu, Obelisk, Chordz, kawachord, Tonespace and probably a few others that I can't recall).
  5. Found it on KontaktHub but not on SAS website strangely. Thanks for the heads up Fleer. https://www.kontakthub.com/product/blura-red-kontakt/
  6. Thanks for the heads-up John! Very happy that it no longer uses BOME and works as a VST ?
  7. That's a great price Larry (about 115 GBP)! ? Soooo tempting and could then also upgrade Padshop to Padshop Pro for 8 GBP.
  8. That's strange. I tried this out on a song I have been reworking. With one VST3 instance on a vocal track CPU core 1 went from around 3.5% to 5.5% no matter which preset I selected. I then added a VST2 instance to another vocal track and CPU core 1 went to around 7%. It seemed to work fine and there was no crackling. When I get a moment I will compare it to my other convolution reverbs.
  9. I definitely used the right password but anyway I sorted it by selecting "lost password" which let me enter a new one. I was more worried that they had lost my account along with all the rewards but it was all intact . Downloading now. Thanks APD ? UPDATE: Well worth the effort - some super lush sounds.
  10. Nice one TTF thanks! ? I already had (and love) Mountains and Resona but managed to get the 70% off on Autumn Choirs and Talua for 14.38 USD (about 11 GBP). Also picked up the freebie Consona (not sure what it is yet but free is free).
  11. Thanks for the freebie but it won't let me log in with my usual credentials. I have contacted APD support.
  12. Thanks Larry. I already have most things iZotope but I am tempted by the Nectar 3 upgrade which works out at $83.16 with code GROUP (around 64 GBP).
  13. Thanks Larry. The free plugins from the Toolbox are worth having (Snap Heap, 3 Band EQ, Chorus, Delay, Gain, Limiter and Stereo) and I also have the Reverser which I seem to have gained for free around Christmas 2016. Snap Heap brings all the plugins you own together in one plugin along with presets that use multiple plugins (like SoundToys Effect Rack). I also like their installer which is customised based on the plugins/licenses you own. My upgrade cost is 141 EUR (around 121 GBP); presumably reduced because of Reverser which is normally a paid plugin. Worth checking your account for your upgrade cost if you already have any of the paid plugins. If I didn't already have the SoundToys bundle I would be all over this. Might also be worth checking JRR, AudioDeluxe and PluginBoutique. UPDATE: The Toolbox bundle is 125.16 USD at JRR with code GROUP. https://www.jrrshop.com/kilohearts-khs-toolbox
  14. I bought the bundle a while back and haven't used any of them (GAS is to blame!). One issue (possibly a good one) is that they keep updating the plugins so I keep having to re download them to make sure I have the latest ones in case I ever get around to installing them. ? Then again maybe I better have a look at the ones I don't have while they are on offer. Is there an emoji for GAS?
  15. Think you might be right Sergio. I enjoyed this....
  16. I am tempted despite having lots of other delays already.
  17. I got Total Studio 2 MAX last year but I wasn't aware of these presets so thanks for the heads-up TTF and mibby ?
  18. Increasing the price to "up to $20" brings up a few more purchase options including - Boz Digital Labs Sasquatch Kick Machine 2 Upgrade for $10 - Kilohearts Phaser $9 - Kuassa Effects $19 each https://www.audiodeluxe.com/search/site?f[0]=bm_field_on_sale_now%3Atrue&f[3]=ism_commerce_price%3A[0 TO 20]
  19. Thanks! Always worth getting a second copy for my mobile rig.
  20. My thoughts exactly Mono. It's also great having both AL4 and the V Collection. You can find something close to what you want in AL4, then if the tweakable parameters available in AL4 aren't enough you can tweak the sound in the individual instrument VSTi to your heart's content.
  21. Fleer and Mesh got to me then Larry's track finally pushed me over the edge! Finally joined the FF club with Pro-Q 3 .
  22. I bought V6 from a private individual on KVR (with good feedback) so the price was what we agreed. Just thinking that when I looked on KVR before V7 came out the prices (for V6) seemed higher which is what you would expect. Actually the one posted by Larry on the first page of this thread was also much higher than I paid and that was after V7 came out so maybe I just got a bargain!
  23. I will keep my fingers crossed Fleer ?? Now to decide over Pro Q-3 before the deal is over!
