  1. Worked a treat for me and they replied quickly tonight! Thanks Grem ??
  2. I found this video where they do a mix from start to finish using many of the tools in MPS 2.1 which is quite informative if you don't already use them (or even if you already do!).
  3. Asking the same thing... I don't have it (yet) but Syntorial does look useful and there are also free add-on packs for a number of soft synths (e.g. Massive, Sylenth, Z3TA+ 2, Serum). I like the look of the feature where a sound is "hidden" and you have to try and re-create it.
  4. Same here. See the MODO drums thread. Bapu too.
  5. I had the same email today Bapu. Mine also expire on 1st July and there are lots of them! That's why I am more focused on what MD has to offer ?
  6. Hi Peter, I am looking at the specs for MODO Drums and it says that 20Gb of hard drive space is needed. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/mododrum/index.php?p=specs I thought that one of the advantages of modeling is that you don't need lots of space to store samples (which is one of the reasons I like MODO Bass). Is that information correct or is the space used to store something else? Thanks
  7. Hey Zo, They are AAS packs. I have been working my way through all of the new stuff and I'm about half way but so far it is all top quality. Some packs are more "effect" oriented than music but the number of packs covers so many options you could almost use just these packs to make an entire song. In fact that sounds like an interesting challenge which I might try.
  8. Yes that's also what happened for me. Not only a bargain but they made it easy to register and identify the new items! The "Synth packs" are actually Strum Session 2 and Ultra Analogue Session 2 (which I already had from Sonar Platinum) and I just realised that I already had Pop Rocks. I'm sure those extra licenses will come in handy though. Great deal!
  9. Yes, here's a link and don't forget the extra discount code GROUP at the checkout. https://www.jrrshop.com/izotope-music-production-suite-upgrade-mpb
  10. Great deal, well spotted Fleer ?? Thanks for the updated link Larry/chris.r. I was surprised to find that I don't have any of them so this must be the deal of the month for me!

    RX Elements

Same here Fleer but still a great deal for those that don't. I'm sure they gave DDLY away free at some point at least I don't recall paying for it.

    RX Elements

Interesting. To be honest I hardly ever need something like RX but I have to say it worked great for the specific use I had in mind and I reckon I have already had my 9 bucks worth. I was surprised that it even had a Spectral view for an entry level product. The voice de noise worked a treat. Will still be interested in whatever Uncle E has to offer though ? If it's cheap enough and significantly better than RX Elements then I'm in.
  13. Thanks Amicus and Spitfire! There was also an update to the Spitfire Audio plugin. Pedal Pads is an 864Mb download and sounds gorgeous. Love the ethereal piano ??
  14. Just tried it and got the same as you guys ? Worth it with the 50 EUR Promo and Jampoints but not if you cannot use both!
  15. Hey abacab and msmcleod, I had a CZ-101 in the 80s (my first synth) with mini keys. Wish I hadn't sold it now as it would probably be worth something. I remember the manuals were excellent; it's a shame that they don't generally do in-depth printed manuals any more. I also seem to recall a detailed MIDI manual that came with it. ? I have Arturia V6 Collection but CZ V only comes with the V7 Collection which is expensive for three extra synths so I am all over this Virtual CZ deal. Thanks for posting Larry!
  16. Thanks for the information Glyn. While installing the Pigments demo I noticed that there were updates for AL4 and V6 Collection (CMI V).
  17. Thanks TS! Seems like a good deal for Pigments. I own V6 Collection and my offer for Pigments is 69 Euros (around 61 GBP). Will demo it for sure. I wonder if any 3rd parties will be offering this? I couldn't find any this cheap at the moment but maybe they have not had time to publish their sale prices. Arturia are also offering the upgrade to V7 Collection and Pigments for 248 Euros (not interested at that price).
  18. Lol, you got me there Mesh! ?? ?? Now I could really do that cake some damage ? You must have been the one heckling me in the crowd! Mind you, Satch Boogie was always a hard song to pull off on banjo. I am hoping to sample those instruments and release a "One Man Band" Kontakt library later in the year.
  19. MODO bass has become my standard bass plugin. Small footprint, great UI and sounds great. Haven't noticed any cpu issues. Think I will pass on this Waves offering.

    RX Elements

Thanks Larry. Great timing! Working on a project where this will come in handy.
  21. Thanks for the information Mark. I will definitely give it another try based on yours and other comments.
  22. I saw this thread and thought "Oh yup I remember that sale" but was sure I didn't buy it. Anyway, I did buy it! I think it was 10 USD. I have a folder in my "Audio Production" software archive with LiquidNotes installer and LiquidMusic? installer (don't know what the latter is). I even have some usage notes copied from the old forum (user Mangulator?) and some how-to links. I think I must have uninstalled it when I realised it operated outside of Sonar (or any DAW) rather than as a plugin. Seems like it's time to investigate it further. ? Does anyone know if the version they are selling now is newer than the last version I downloaded (1.5.3.4)?
  23. Very cool video Zo! Love that music btw. I went from thinking "another tape plugin, meh" to "it's a must have" by the end. IKM should employ you, or maybe they already do
  24. Nice one! Thanks Lawrence. My license has arrived ??

    I'm back!

Good to have you back Larry! Explains why I was able to post a deal before you ?
