I have a few projects with songs to play along with. One for standard ....one for half step down ...one for Capo madness. Just unmute the wav and have an active guitar input. Then I play around with Guitar Rig or Amplitude to find good tones to complement the songs. I usually record just to see if it sounds accurate and the playing is good (not looking for recording perfection though). I also will do this for vocals as well, and then record me doing each of the parts (think King's X or Little River Band) to see how I sound. I look at the vocals out in melodyne to see how I am holding pitch. Anyone else do stuff like that?

I used to work at KFC in the early 90's! I actually like it every blue moon(primarily because I don't eat fried foods). There was nothing better than the Colonel's recipe in fresh oil back then. My coworkers and I did a Chicken Sandwich shootout of 8 sandwiches, and KFC placed 2nd. -

I have to admit, when in Nashville, I go to J in the B and White Castle. I also pay in ways I will not describe ? -
How do they have over FIVE HUNDRED AND FIFTY locations? I don't know a single person who goes there. Who wants (most-likely)China-raised that is battered and fried? Seriously? Could it be money laundering? What is your chain that you are surprised is even in business?

That decade produced so much memorable music that fashion doesn't matter. There are still so many 80's songs that still have legs today ...the test of time is the best test of all IMO.

"I'd kill myself for you, I'd kill you for myself" - Pantera - This Love (which I am wearing a Pantera T-shirt in my profile pic!) It is just so haunting in the obvious meaning and delivery, it just sent chills down my spine. Still kind of does.

We agree., we'd rather have better takes. That was my main point.

I think you can hit a more enunciated "Moving" on the second line. I realize they are somewhat scratch vocals, but levels are a little uneven(volume primarily and switches to your higher parts where you get breathy), but I know you have that! Same with the harmony. Disagree with the reverb comment, but I come the Devin Townsend school of vocals, and he can lay it on thick, and it sounds like it belongs to me. Agree with maybe picking up the tempo a little - a little experimentation will bear out if it sounds "right", but I am curious.

The less "turd polishing" you have to do, the better! ? Also, I did the Studio upgrade in version 4, NEVER regretted it.

Costco during December is a gateway to HELL!

Sadly, some items are in-store only and I refuse to do instacart. -
Costco during December is a gateway to HELL!

Well, it starts in the parking lot insanity. We could get a spot within a block of the store for 15 minutes. Then people who get in to the entrance and JUST STOP, but don't pull to the side. Next, you have folks that don't want to stay in their "lane". Lastly, people who block an aisle stuffing their face with free samples and then park in the middle of the aisles. MOVE or GET OUT OF THE WAY(deliberate old man caps). I usually go off-hours, as I work near one, but this visit was a favor for the lady. -
I'm not wrong!

Reminds me of this skit...

As Long as You Follow on the Greatest Hits is my favorite song of hers, and it never got the attention most of her other songs did.

Don't know what to do with that old computer hardware? Try this! ?

As an IT Lifer, this warms my heart! -
Maybe not, but the comments have been well thought out. YAY for reasonable CbB users! ?

You did this in CbB???? It sounds good regardless of what DAW you did it in. Interesting to hear a singer sing this in "full voice" instead of the falsetto Dave Mustaine uses, and the bass player being a finger player instead of a pick like Dave(which was pretty cool). Musicianship is top notch, and it stays true to the original!

I use ActiveDisk ( https://www.lsoft.net/bootdisk/ ). I usually do a backup a month, and have had to restore a few times ...and had no issues. I also use this at work to image 100's of computers, and we've had great success with it.

I really wish when there is wrong done, that the victims come forward IMMEDIATELY. 10-15 years are a really long to be quiet, and that doesn't mean they weren't violated ....that's not for me to say. But there have been some cases recently where it is 20-30-40-50 years down the road. I absolutely am aware things were different in the past, but at some point, I would think you either come forward or let it go as best you can. My other point would be: let the judicial process play out. I think this is a problem today ...making judgement on media and such alone, instead of under oath in court. In modern times, too many place too much stock in Twitter/Facebook/Instagram/etc. Now, some cases accumulate (think Bill Cosby, Deshaun Watson, Harvey Weinstein) and become pretty clear, but I still rely on the court system than social media. In the end, I have no idea of the particular charges, so I will wait to see. Not an Arcade Fire fan, so easy to not listen ?

Your enunciation, when you tail off at the end of a line, is just major league. Another solid creation. The drums seem a little low to me personally, that is only only thing that sticks out to me. Also, if the drums are virtual, I'd plug in a different kit to spice it up. But those are just nitpicky things and does not detract from your work.

Disagree with point 3 COMPLETELY. Not only does James do the primary writing and lyrics, but his playing while singing is UNBEATABLE. Mega Dave is good too, he just sings falsetto, thus a little easier in my book. Kirk was his best on Master of Puppets IMO, as he wasn't a co-dependent on his wah as much. And to your point @SteveStrummerUK, James and Kirk do work well together and balance each other out.
