  1. After using Jamstix off and on for about 5-6 years I have the basic functions down, but am still in the dark about anything in any real depth.  I'd love to see Ralph do some in depth tutorials.  I think if he could ease the learning curve he would find this program would be more popular.

    Black Rooster Audio

So the guys at Fuse code for Black Rooster?  That's kind of like the Chinese companies that sell the same mics to different re-sellers who re-badge them as their own.

Bloating installations (installers ..., or like the IK Custom Shops, you have to install everything even if you just need a tiny bit of it. This results also in a lot of needless update)

This is the one that drives me crazy.  I recently ran and update in Amplitube 5 and ended up with a ton of stuff I didn't want on my HD.  C'mon IK, stop doing this.

There's a reason I love this forum and spend the majority of my time on forums here, the people. This has always been the friendliest, most helpful DAW/music making forum I know of.

Absolutely, 100% agree.  I've been on this, and the original CW forum, for about 15 years.  I pop in every day.   Great, great supportive good folks here.

Never used this product and have version 2 or 3 maybe.  Part of it was learning how to use it.

I have to say that the learning curve is straight up, but once you get a grasp it can do some really good things.

Sweetwater was bought out and things seem to be changing already. I just had a really bad experience with them and that's why I'm a bit leery of this.

I bought a Fender modeling guitar from the a few months ago. They did go the extra mile for me. They let me return some very expensive software that was over a year old that never worked and I couldn't get any tech support from the seller. But, they never did the "55 Point Inspection"

I've used Sweetwater for years, and would gladly buy hardware from them, but the two guitars they sold me clearly had not been through the 55 Point Inspection either.   Neither had a serious problem that I couldn't fix, but I would say don't claim to do a detailed inspection if you don't actually do it.

Larry, when you are posting a deal, could you please let me know if I've already bought it before I buy it again?

    OK, this one wins.

I guess we will have to wait and see, but my first reaction was oh no not again.

I'm with ya.  When I read the article, I got a little knot in my stomach.   The hope I have right now is that Fender seems to be a very different company than Gibson.

Every now and then Larry comes up with something completely new to me and I'm like "where these guys have been hiding for the last decade or so?" LOL

I'd guess that about a third of the time he posts a deal I find myself asking, "How does he know about all this stuff?"  I'm thinking he has some deep links with certain "intelligence agencies".

btw, if you like The Resonator and The Steel, check out Delta Blues Slide Guitar. It's my favorite of the bunch. Well, if you don't count Renaxxance. But that's a whole 'nother animal.

Dawg-gone, BF I just bought Renaxxance and The Fiddle and felt all full and satisfied.  Now I've got to get Delta Blues Slide Guitar.  Is there a bottom to this hole?
