Congratulations! Like so many of the rest of us you're now and official ward of the state and you're entitled to a free colonoscopy every five years!

Thanks, Larry. I wish they made these for KONTAKT. I'd pick them up in a heartbeat. Also, not to be a hater, but Andy Johns kits are the ones I'd want the most -- and he worked on some of the greatest albums in rock with some of the greatest, most iconic drum sounds for Zeppelin, The Stones, Blind Faith, Joe Cocker...and the first thing you see on his page are a bunch of pictures of him and Eddie Money???? Sorry man, but WTH???? Is there someone in the 21st century who is passing over the sound of Bonham's drums and saying, "I want to capture the magic of the drum's on Eddie Money's Shaking" or "Take Me Home Tonight." Okay, granted, my favorite drum teacher -- I had like five -- played with the Peter Brown Band, who gave us the hits "Do You Wanna Get Funky with Me" and "Dance With Me," but even he'd acknowledge that drum libraries from his albums aren't at anywhere near the greatness of Zeppelin albums or the Stones. You're promoting Andy freaking Johns, you have 7 images of him you use on the website -- you don't make three of those images Eddie Money.
Anyhow, rant over!Good point. That would be sort of like Paul McCartney touting the fact he used to play with Pete Best.

After using Jamstix off and on for about 5-6 years I have the basic functions down, but am still in the dark about anything in any real depth. I'd love to see Ralph do some in depth tutorials. I think if he could ease the learning curve he would find this program would be more popular.

That video was very helpful, thanks much for posting.

Black Rooster Audio
So the guys at Fuse code for Black Rooster? That's kind of like the Chinese companies that sell the same mics to different re-sellers who re-badge them as their own.

Bloating installations (installers ..., or like the IK Custom Shops, you have to install everything even if you just need a tiny bit of it. This results also in a lot of needless update)
This is the one that drives me crazy. I recently ran and update in Amplitube 5 and ended up with a ton of stuff I didn't want on my HD. C'mon IK, stop doing this.

There's a reason I love this forum and spend the majority of my time on forums here, the people. This has always been the friendliest, most helpful DAW/music making forum I know of.
Absolutely, 100% agree. I've been on this, and the original CW forum, for about 15 years. I pop in every day. Great, great supportive good folks here.

Never used this product and have version 2 or 3 maybe. Part of it was learning how to use it.
I have to say that the learning curve is straight up, but once you get a grasp it can do some really good things.

That's the best price I've seen so far. Retails for $199, usually goes on sale for $99.

I can't decide if over the years Larry has saved me money or cost me money. It's probably some of both, so I'm definitely in for a coffee

Sweetwater was bought out and things seem to be changing already. I just had a really bad experience with them and that's why I'm a bit leery of this.
I bought a Fender modeling guitar from the a few months ago. They did go the extra mile for me. They let me return some very expensive software that was over a year old that never worked and I couldn't get any tech support from the seller. But, they never did the "55 Point Inspection"
I've used Sweetwater for years, and would gladly buy hardware from them, but the two guitars they sold me clearly had not been through the 55 Point Inspection either. Neither had a serious problem that I couldn't fix, but I would say don't claim to do a detailed inspection if you don't actually do it.

My strategy is to cave into every deal I see, smoke my credit cards, and then try to beat y wife to the mail box. I figure I have at least a 50/50 chance of success.

I'm in the deep south about an hour below Memphis. Today we're hitting a balmy 77F (25C). I've been wearing shorts and tee shirts since Christmas. I love it!
