Wow, nice work. There's so many changes of mood here, but it always finds its way back to that smooth groove. All the voices and the way they work together makes my head spin. I particularly enjoyed m the lead since sounds and the brass.

Funky groove with a strong driving bass line that works well with the drums. Its a very clean, balanced mix, really liked the guitar tones and the vocals mixed well with the backing track. Good lyrics too. Nice job!

I heavily depend on presets and machine learning tools like izotope's ozone to fill the gaps but it can be hit or miss. I will drop 6k+ by a a couple of db's and post a new mix. Here's a new one that I've been monkeying with for a while and I think it's ready for your input. I had a third verse written but I didn't want a five minute song, so two and some noodling about is what we get here. Thanks in advance for your input! Update: Mix 2 has been posted. Tried to clean up the vocals a bit but I may have diminished them somewhat. I added a 2db high shelf starting at 6k. I also bumped the gain on a couple of guitar parts that were inexplicably missing. Please give this new mix a listen and let me know if I'm getting there with it. Thank you! Update: I still feel like the track is pretty bass heavy and muddy here and there. Wonderful piece with heartbreaking lyrics. I love the sparse arrangement and mix. The guitar is just perfect and the ambience is great.

I do believe you have a single here, if such things are still done. Brilliant pop-rock piece with a relentlessly uplifting feel. You always have such fresh melodies. Just a perfect mix with flawless performances. Well done, best of luck with your album!

Epic song, like everyone else I was sold with opening. I dig everything you guys do, but you've raised the bar with this one.

Super clean mix, wish I could get basslines to sound that good. I love the sax parts, you seem to have it well in hand. I liked the way you faded with a suspenseful motif. It's a lovely song.

Wow, great one Steve, loved the mix. Such a complex arrangement, like 10cc meets Gentle Giant - I absolutely love this! I listened to the audio first, then again with the video. The visuals pull the lyrics together in a completely different way for me, very cool experience. All the hard work really pays off in this one.
