I remember you really liking this company. What are some of your favorites?
-
Again - I understand they may be very good plugins, and while I am very appreciative of the freebies lately, as you said the CPU load makes them unusable on my anemic craptop. And not to bash them, but I also don't like their naming. WTF does the plugin "Lemon" do?? Or "Water2"? Seriously.
-
Just keeping you on your toes. Acustica may have really good plugins, but I find it hard to believe that even their self-proclaimed "Hot Deals" are almost all a good bit over 100 Euros! ?
-
Hmmm.... I've never heard of "Acutica" before. That's a new one! ?
-
From the video - around 2:20 he says "By the way, you can use all Hofa plugins in DDP Master without having to purchase them". https://youtu.be/rqfLPW-gsIA?t=140 It's still a bit restrictive since you can't really mix with them.

Sonible Proximity EQ FREE with any purchase at Plugin Boutique
mibby replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Is PluginBoutique going to start giving a FREEBIE with purchase each month? I'm liking this! Oh wait.. iLok?? (NOOOOO!!!!!) -
He's waiting by his email for IK support to respond...
-
Haha! Enjoy! I guess my job is done here then. I can't "help" you with the Eventide. I don't own it... ?
-
Because you don't own it yet? ?

Zinc, you're going to love it. Beside all the great features on this thing like 6 flavors of compressor, pre/post EQ, and Mid/Side processing, the "Loud Relief" knob is unique to this Boz compressor. Here's a video. Seriously, as Lars said, this one is a no brainer guys!
-
Not so "exclusive". Only $2-freakin-5.95 in the cart at AudioDeluxe.com!
-
I'm done trying to get the iLok Cloud to work with the demo. Too many other amp sims out there without it. However, the Lo-Fi Vintage Saturator works and sounds great.
-
Yup! And it's a keeper too. I've definitely got my money's worth from Manic. It's fantastic.
-
Yup! I can't say enough how simple and ingenious this one is. I'd like to see a couple of mods, but for what $3 (??) how in the world can you complain? Also, another plug for the all Computer Music plugin bundle. Included in there are the HorNet Drum Shaper, Fat-FET, FreMo and Graffio. (I'll have to look at a couple of these to see what there are! Eh-hem!)
-
I have a handful of them, but the only one that gets any regular use is the VU Meter MK3 which I use to set up the initial balance on a mix. Great idea for a plugin! https://www.hornetplugins.com/plugins/hornet-vu-meter-mk3/

Haven't tried it, but just a side note. I wouldn't have ever heard of the company, W.A. Production, if it hadn't been for the giveaway on PB. I think that's a good argument for these one-stop resellers - especially for new/small Dev companies. No idea WHY I'm saying this... ?

I found a thread over on the Presonus forum with this video... It's about Nektar integration.
-
It's been there since version 4 was released a year ago. (I think? Well it says SO is "ready" for ARA 2.) https://www.presonus.com/press/press-releases/Studio-One-4 One of THE stupidest marketing (o whatever moves) ever IMHO. I almost didn't get it because of that. I'm just REALLY hoping the announcement won't be an announcement for a v5 or something where they want you to pony up for another upgrade...
-
Thanks, I couldn't remember which one it was.
-
Cool! This is one that's still on my "must get" list! Thanks Lars. I'm not trying to start rumors, I honestly don't remember... But didn't I see that VSTbuzz was closing down on one of these threads recently?? Or am I imagining things?

FREE bundle here: https://hofa-plugins.de/en/plugins/4u/
-
If you do nothing else, pick up their FREE bundle too. They're all good, but the Hofa 4U Meter is absolutely fantastic and I use it all the time. My favotie tool for automating gain and panning. But it does a lot and does it well.
-
That's been FREE for like ...ever. It was my first dynamic eq! ? Great plugin though! Amazing that it's free. I liked it so much I picked up the gentleman's version a Black Friday ago...

Thanks for that. I was a little tempted, but I'm all set with Breverb, MConvolutionEZ and Studio One's OpenAir convo-verbs. Am I right in thinking, the only real difference anyway, other than the IRs themselves of course, is the UI?
