If you guys have Native Instruments, they just gave away their compressor, Supercharger. I finally got it installed and was playing with it just a little the other night. I've gotta say, I'm really excited about this one! Like MJUC excited. It seems to have a LOT of potential as a good "character" compressor and I think will sound great on parallel drums or a snare for starters. Anyway, sorry to digress from the thread, but try it out. I'm curious to hear what other smarter guys think about it. ?

I saw this and seriously considered because of the IK plugins. It's only $7! But I decided against it. Reading more closely, it seems as though it might be some sort of subscription or something with the IK plugins. So when you cancel, do you lose access the plugins.(??) Am I wrong? Why "give away" the old version? Last point, this "offer" comes off as such a hard sell and reads like an infomercial and really turns me off. While I'll always be appreciative to Graham for getting me going with mixing a few years back - he was one of the first "names" I came across and I bought a beginners course from him - but his hard sell emails have really become a turn-off. To the point that this just feels like a money-grab. Again and again. Maybe I've just become too cynical these days?

I remember that from the Group Buy last year. But the website actually let me apply all of my Jam Points to the cart. I didn't check out, but IIRC, it squawked when I tried that during the Goup Buy.... I've been wrong before. ?

That's a pretty expansive looking bundle of synths. It looks like I can get it down to $36 bucks with Jam Points. Is this product any good?

I stay away from anything requiring an iLok dongle. I love the Omega N and will eventually get the series. The Reddi sounds fantastic too. Still, waiting for a better sale though.

I mentioned this on another thread. I installed and tried it out, and it slurped up like 39% of my CPU. Channel strip for 2 tracks, I guess. ? It does look interesting, but that is a non-starter with my iC3 CPU...

Plus you get the PB kick-backs like "virtual cash" and whatever special of the moment they've got going on.

When I initially bought some plugins from Melda, I Googled the exchange rate from euros to dollars and it came out a couple of dollars different (IIRC) than what I was charged. I asked Melda support about it, and that was the answer I got above. I found PB and AD a little cheaper than Melda, however, not 20% cheaper if you are able to use someone's referral code on the Melda site...

For the record, Little Clipper is awesome as well. I particularly love the UI on this one. IMHO, it looks cool and is just so easy to use. I use it all the time.

This is what got my Waves plugins working again after the v10 update. I have a mix of v9 and v10, and am not looking forward to trying to do another update... +1 on Melda!

I've asked Melda support about that before and was told that it is the 3rd party vendor they use for sales. (IIRC) I suspect there is a middleman getting something somewhere. ?
