I downloaded the demo but couldn't get the iLok Cloud to let me use it. Will try again tonight. I emailed the Dev - again, but he seems pretty invested in the iLok authorization, which, unfortunately, isn't winning points with me at all. Frustrating to the point of, there are plenty of decent amp sims out there without having to deal with this s--t. It really too bad, because this looks really interesting to me.

That is soooo bogus. Surely there is a misunderstanding! How does this help Waves customers - at all?? Maybe that's why they gave away HComp recently, so those of us who already had it can get sucked into the WUP Black Hole? Seriously, there must be some mistake, I just don't see how anyone in management would think it's a good idea to screw their customers over that way. Especially customers like who who have bought multiple copies of the plugins! (Which you also shouldn't have to do, but that is another issue.)

A new version number to maintain and endless "upgrade" installation headaches...
-
Was it on? (Now 3.99 GBP)
-
"Yorolpal" needs to tell Waves that $14.99 is the NEW best price point! ?
-
I was going to ask some of you guitar guys if you tried this out. The Nembrini Audio dev did the Plugin Alliance amps, and the Lo-Fi Vintage Clipper he gave away awhile ago is great. This one looks really interesting to me. I may have to demo it.

Still, imagine if you were a "Pick Pack" owner and this special came out. Pretty darn nice surprise!
-
Now THAT'S taking care of your current customers!
-
I can. Don't "WUP". My v9 plugins still work just fine. ?

From the bottom of this page: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/tr5max/ It looks to me like the presets are available "for all users who have downloaded and authorized T-RackS 5 Custom Shop, T-RackS 5, T-RackS 5 Deluxe or T-RackS 5 MAX"...
-
FYI - for anyone who has bought Computer Music and NOT explored all of the plugins, there is a CM version of Maximal 2 that looks pretty interesting!
-
You're not alone - I didn't see it earlier either. Maybe Lars has "special deal vision" and can see deals before they are actually posted? ?

You've probably been flagged... -
For anyone who isn't aware, I haven't subscribed, but I've bought 2 past issues so far for the FREEBIE of the month and got IK's Black 76 and White 2A, both very decent plugins for like $5 each. BUT, besides those, you get a pile of other decent plugins, loops, samples and virtual instruments, most of which I honestly haven't even gone through. But there are some real keepers in there! It's a great deal!

Just curious - anyone ever use Regroover Essential?
-
Because you have so many other delays? I'm going to wait until this one simmers a bit. I've got lots of other delays too. Plus, I can't imagine needing another delay after EchoBoy. I think he may have been a little too slow getting this one out. A couple of years ago, I'd have snapped it up!

He's done sales??? ?

I just noticed this one! Excellent limiter! Easy to set up and very friendly on the CPU. https://www.bozdigitallabs.com/product/the-wall/

IMHO, the clean no non-sense UI and the bucket load of features make it worth it. That said, I find I reach for Boz's The Wall more often because it is just so nice on the CPU and easy to set up. People seem to love Limiter No. 6 but I have found the UI a little clunky and the CPU hit. BTW, Tokyo Dawn came out with a paid version of this that looks great. Oh! The Wall is on sale! I HIGHLY recommend it! Get that! https://www.bozdigitallabs.com/product/the-wall/

Just to clarify, you can use the iLok Cloud to authorize these. It checks the license when you start your DAW. No dongle required. This may be a new company, but this Dev has been around. I emailed him about the "most famous guitar amp plugins" line on his "About" page. He did the all the Brainworx amp plugins also distributed by UA. You can verify - his name is in the "About" dialogs of the plugins. Plus, I'll vouch for the LoFi Vintage Clipper - it's awesome!

Yes! And yup. The last Group Buy got me on the IK bandwagon. ?
-
Yeah, I'm demoing it and really liking it too!
