  1. If I were you, I'd upgrade to v11 and lave the others on v10. I've go v9 and v10 stuff, not eligible unless I WUP - aAnd there's no way on god's green earth that I"m going to trust Waves with 3 different versions on my system when going to 10 was a total headache for nothing... Still, there are a couple of Waves plugins that I'd like to have, but I'm just a bit gun-shy these days. Some of these guys on here have a clever way to WUP if you're into that sort of thing. But someone smarter than me will have to explain it. ?
  2. If you go to their main page, and scroll down past the Union ad, and click the "Audio Plugin Bundles", their "Compressor Bundle" is on sale for only £15.95. I already own Paradox which is kind of cool, but the others look interesting too. And with the "DONTGO20" code, you can pick up this bundle AND Union for only Total: £16.75
  3. ^^^ This ^^^ I haven't bought a Waves plugin for a while now mostly because of the 9-10 update. I want to get MV2, but maybe not that badly. Maybe I'll go back and do some more research on "upwards compression" again. I'm certain I have plugins that can do what MV2 can do...
  4. I picked up the VSM-3 for $14.99 ... I'm a light-weight, only a $25 voucher.
  5. Hmmm... well it let me subscribe like I wasn't subscribed previously. Then I unsubscribed and re-subscribed. Oh well, thanks anyway...
  6. Maybe only for customers? I didn't see the pop-up or get anything when I subscribed...
  7. Was a little curious about this and looked at their demo video. Correct me if I'm wrong but it's a parametric EQ with 3 saturation settings...
  8. Isn't MAAT digital the $1000 EQ plugin? 50% off that? Big woop. ?
  9. This one has been on my list for awhile since it integrates with Studio One. I'm still waiting for that no-brainer deal though. Softube just doesn't seem to like playing that game.
  10. It doesn't look like Koby at everyplugin.com honors this code? Actually, it doesn't look like it's up at any of the discounters...
  11. Function over form, although the UI has been getting better... I don't really mind it anymore. And it's pretty tweakable. Maybe I'm just used to it?
  12. Indeed! https://bitosti.bandcamp.com/releases Great rant. Admittedly, I'm a Melda neophyte and still learning the plugins I have. But the more I use them, the more I appreciate how deep these things go. I am still at the "click through the presets then tweak" stage though... As @sarine alluded to, Melda is a programmer. By that I mean, he re-uses programming objects throughout his plugins. So once you figure out his "method" of doing things, it's lather rinse repeat. i.e. You can generally apply it to the other plugins. Lot's of the plugin pieces are reused. Here's another aspect that I rarely see mentioned. https://www.meldaproduction.com/technology/plugin-kernel BTW, my crappy little i3 CPU can run Melda plugins just fine. With all of that said, if anyone wants to wade into the Melda universe because of @sarine's expose, here is my 20% Off Referral Code: MELDA2490257 Apply it at checkout. (I get a 10% credit too. Or grab a friend's code and give him the credits.)
  13. Sounds great, looks like butt. I wish they'd give you two "skins": 1. The "original" modeled unit 2. The one that has decent sized GUI and looks good.
  14. Makes me think of this song for some reason...
  15. Besides really decent plugins, Overloud won my respect when they made their CW plugins available to former CW owners after the company went belly up. Very altruistic thing to do in this day and age.... ?
  16. It's even cheaper at PluginBoutique...
  17. Here's the original thread:
  18. Just a heads up Carlos - not the same deal, but Overloud just came out with their version. Based on the company (Overloud is awesome) and @Zo's review on another thread, you may want to check this one out before you reach for your wallet. https://www.overloud.com/products/comp-la
  19. $#@^&@! The price is now updated to $124.99... ?
  20. Ummm... Are you sure these are current?? The title on that page is "2018 Black Friday Deals Start EARLY at eSoundz!"
  21. That one and a few others are pretty cheap over at PluginBoutique.com. Didn't you get this bundle a while back Larry? Are they any good? They seem like a good way to get MTM Expose for free. https://www.pluginboutique.com/manufacturers/189-W-A-Production
  22. Yes, but when you check out there's a place to enter Jam Points (which generates a discount coupon) AND a Discount Coupon. That's why I was wondering if you can use both at the same time...
  23. Is there a way to use Jam Points AND a Discount Code on a purchase?
