  1. BandLab does not offer Session Drummer. If you had Session Drummer it came with a Cakewalk product. For X3 and older run the advanced install for 64bit SONAR and select the plug-ins to install. For best results with 64bit SONAR Professional/Platinum uninstall CbB then perform a complete install using the Cakewalk Command Center then re-install CbB.
  2. My automatic background scans take no time at all. Never have. All ~1300 plug-ins are on the system SSD. The last reset took around 14 minutes. Are there many plug-ins that run in a shell like Waves? May want to run a generate scan log and review the settings at the top of the log.
  3. Is input echo enabled? It is the button to the right of record on the track. AASIO4All is unnecessary. On Win10, try the WASAPI driver modes instead.

    Where is Sysex view?

This is what the menu looks like when using the Basic workspace
  5. Time+ in the MIDI track inspector. The lower control pointed to by "Q"

    Where is Sysex view?

When documented features appear to be missing, the first thing to check is the Workspace setting. Either change the setting to a workspace that has the view, create a new workspace or set it to None.
  7. It is up to iZotope to develop the plug-in. If an ARA version of the editor is developed for Windows, CbB will load it like all the other Windows ARA plug-ins.
  8. It all works as documented The hot spot to open a plug-in UI is anywhere between the power button on the left and the drop down menu on the right
  9. I cannot replicate the problem in either the current production 2021.09 build 145 or Early Access 2021.11 Early build 8 on Win10 Pro 21H1 build 19043.1320. CTRL+open UI, pinning UI and the preference setting all work.
  10. ASIO4All is not recommended for use with CbB. ASIO4All should never be installed when factory ASIO drivers are available; it has been known to interfere with real ASIO drivers.
  11. The instruments bundled with CbB are TTS-1 and the Studio Instrument Suite. The Studio Instrument Suite does not automatically get installed. It is one of the installers found in on the "Install Add-ons..." menu in BA. The add-on installers are also listed in on the third page of the new Cakewalk Web Installer.
  12. Looks like all the Newfangled Audio plug-ins were updated recently too.
  13. Check for audio "enhancement" settings in the playback program preferences or Windows.
  14. The first test to perform for this type of problem is import the file back into Cakewalk and play it. If playback is OK in Cakewalk, the problem is not the exported file. Usually the problem is the program/device playing the exported file.
  15. It should work better given the internal sound chip can use the WASAPI driver, however; for recording audio, an interface designed for DAW use with a manufacturer supplied ASIO driver is the solution.
  16. The problem is using bluetooth audio devices and their driver support. MME32 is the poorest performing Windows driver. You may be able to get proper playback by increasing the Mixing Latency (moving the slider to the right) in Preferences > Audio > Driver Settings but in the long run it is going to be difficult to use this audio solution with a DAW. An audio interface designed for DAW use with a manufacturer supplied ASIO driver is the solution. Beware some entry level audio interfaces lack proper driver support too.
  17. I sent you and @Mike B a PM about this.
  18. The only way to use the old advanced export dialog is rollback to the prior version of CbB For some time, the current production release has a dedicated thread for reporting issues. If rollback to 2021.06 appears to solve the problem and re-installing 2021.09 build 145 causes the problem to re-appear, it would be a good idea to post in the 2021.09 feedback thread.
  19. use the pin in the upper right next to the X
  20. Change "Export Audio Files" in Preferences > File > Folder Locations to %PROJECTFOLDER%
  21. Manufacturers who supply ASIO drivers to aggregate their devices are not shy about the feature. If the marketing literature for the interfaces do not mention running multiple interfaces, they do not support the feature. It may be possible to use a different driver such WASAPI if the devices have a way to share a clock.
