Just received an email from Hornet with a price correction for this. It is actually 80% off, not 87%. Edit: Hey Larry, just noticed your text is correct but your title is not.
-
Saw somebody trying to flog this on facebook marketplace for $300, claiming it was worth $599 American. Some people are so low.

You have to buy two items and go through the checkout twice, once for each item to use both vouchers.

8Dio - The Century Strings 2.0 Bundle: Normale and Sordino - $48 - Flash Deal
Doug Rintoul replied to Kirean's topic in Deals
Yes it does. I received this from support: Hello Doug, Apologies for the confusion. It looks like there was a mixup on our end (new employee) and the price has been changed to the correct price of $48. -
This is a known bug and a fix is in the works. Apparently, it has something to do with legacy products which can no longer be downloaded but can be authorized still. If you turn off viewing legacy products in the settings, these go away.

8Dio - The Century Strings 2.0 Bundle: Normale and Sordino - $48 - Flash Deal

The text of the message states that you are getting $750 off, so it is not a simple mistake of missing a 1. I sent a message to 8Dio support. They have been very accomodating in the past. We will see if they honour this deal. -
However, the upgrade for me to the latest version is $499, only $100 off. Last year, when I bought 8, the upgrade was 50% off but still at $250, I decided it wasn't worth it for me to upgrade. No way I am paying $499 for the upgrade. And I already own the augmented instruments that were added in 9. However getting 8 for $49 is an absolute super deal.

BFD3 - $49 at AudioPlugin.Deals (+10% off w/ TACO10)
Doug Rintoul replied to Kirean's topic in Deals
No. 8Bit Music is the name of the company that did the sampling. They were sampled at 24 Bit, 44.1 KHz. They were played with different items like a paint roller. That is what is supposed to make them unique. Though maybe you knew that and my humour detector is malfunctioning. -
Kirnu Cream MIDI Tools Sale (Exclusive) for $15
Doug Rintoul replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
True. However...and I don't know if you can trust this but, the developer posted on KVR in January that "Cream VST3 and Mac Silicon/Intel versions are coming soon. I have started to rewrite the MIDI engine and that update is also coming this year." -
BFD3 - $49 at AudioPlugin.Deals (+10% off w/ TACO10)
Doug Rintoul replied to Kirean's topic in Deals
I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Some would maintain the current version is already great in its current state, especially with the majority of the kinks worked out. If the existing feature set has what you want and it sound good to you, then $44.10 is a darn good deal. It is not like it is a thousand dollar investment on which you are basing your career. For me it was worth a punt and I am glad I did. -
AIR Instruments Expansion Pack 3 Complete by AIR Music Tech - $199.99 @ APD
Doug Rintoul replied to Kirean's topic in Deals
Not a deal at all. You can currently get this from pluginboutique for $119 if you own any Air Instrument (who doesn't) and it has been as cheap as $75. Everything in the pack is ancient and no longer developed or supported. I don't think I would pay $75 for it now. I do own it but it mostly just takes up space on my hard drive. -
BFD3 - $49 at AudioPlugin.Deals (+10% off w/ TACO10)
Doug Rintoul replied to Kirean's topic in Deals
Actually the current version of BFD3 is pretty solid. I think most of the issues have been ironed out. I have not had any issues with it, and it seems that it is still being maintained. -
Amazon.com has them for $39.95 USD. Free shipping if you have prime.
-
Is CA California or Canada? In either case, my shipping is $38.55. Are you buying multiple units to reduce the shipping cost?

I don't think this video is relevent anymore. At least the version I downloaded didn't have a demo mode.

Noun or Verb? When I saw the Rebelle, I was pronouncing it like the noun. I said it out loud and couldn't quite catch what you meant. Then I watched a YouTube video on Rebelle, and realized I was pronouncing it incorrectly. Your statement now makes more sense to me.

New NewFangled Audio (Eventide) Plugin - Recirculate update 1.1.9
Doug Rintoul replied to TheSteven's topic in Deals
Ah, this is what I was missing. Now I have to decide if I really want RECIRCULATE. -
The Arturia site is being hit hard. Fortunately did not affect installing the upgrade.

New NewFangled Audio (Eventide) Plugin - Recirculate update 1.1.9

Mine is $49. What do you have that gives you $29.40? -
You know what is even more annoying? People who keep complaining about annoying Linux/Mac/Windows users. Full disclosure, I was a long time Linux/Ubuntu user but moved to Windows to do music software. But there are a lot of things I miss in Windows. I also don't like OS X but I do understand there are people who prefer it and that is okay with me. So as far as I am concerned, each to their own.
