    Thanks for the comments. I was afraid I would have a hard time doing something like this without it sounding corny or sappy. Once I got going, it came pretty easily. I chalk it up to inspiration.

    Use a different VSTi. TTS1 can be problematic. It will only get worse as time goes by because it is no longer being maintained.

    I was thinking that myself. This guy can run "the world's most expensive DAW" on his screaming monster of a computer - which I'm sure wasn't cheap either - and he can't pony up $100 for a real audio interface?
