  1. Pretty cool. Rather southern rock feel, kind of an Allman Brothers vibe.
  2. You could work everything out with virtual instruments and then replace them after everything is sorted.
  3. That particular instrument is known not to work on W10. Like you noted, it is obsolete and no longer being developed. Time to bite the bullet and move on. Try these: https://www.digitalsoundfactory.com/shop/
  4. @Olaf Butthurt? You're the one who responded as if I suggested that one of your parents is a canine and don't know who the other is. From your reaction, its probably a good thing you're not struggling with pitch correcting your vocals; you really would be offended by my answer to that.
  5. I don't know why so many people hate on bagpipes so much. I always thought they sounded cool.
  6. 1) I'm not going to download any file I don't know what it is. 2) I'm trying to be helpful. I do tempo and time signature changes all the time. I have none of the issues you're describing because I figure everything out and lay in my tempo map and guide tracks. before hitting that red button. All the parts I record line up perfectly - or as near to it as I can play - and I don't have to fight with stretching, squishing, finding and editing transient markers and forcing things to conform to other things. Look, I'm not trying to start an argument. But you're trying to tell me that the way I do it isn't easier, yet I have absolutely none of the issues you're describing my way most assuredly does work and as a matter of fact until pretty recently it's the only way that could be done. Either that or you'd be spending a million dollars to make your record. I'm offering a suggestion. You're free to take it, or not. It really won't hurt my feelings. It just never ceases to amaze me how when I suggest something simple and obvious that people such as yourself act like I've questioned their ancestry or something.
  7. True. However, I have the habit of recording each mic onto its own mono track. Since it's going to end up that way anyways, it's simpler for me to just record it that way in the first place
  8. This is so much easier if you figure it all out in pre-production and then lay out your tempo map before recording.
  9. If you record on a stereo track, you will have no control over the spread.
  10. I finally got it once I figured out how to have all the take lanes open on all 4 tracks at the same time. Now I'll have to remember how I did that.
  11. I watch YouTube through Firefox with some ad blocker stuff. No ads.
  12. https://musescore.org/en Cakewalk's staff view is... rudimentary.
  13. Why not just edit out the unwanted controller events? How did "someone" manage to "fool with one of your pieces" in the first place?

TTS-1 can be problematic. I would advise using something else.
  15. You should be using the driver for the X32.
  16. I'm not gonna even think about W11 until that zero day exploit is fixed.... https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/topic/36657-windows-11-zero-day-exploit-ms-cant-fix/
