  1. $29.99 for Microsoft Office?! No thanks. I think I'll pass on the "Rolex" too.
  2. Clearly you don't know your ***** from a hole in the ground. Tell that to Frank Sinatra. Tell that to Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, the same Michael Jackson, James Brown, Bruce Springsteen and Black Sabbath. Tony, Geezer, Bill and Ozzy recorded Black Sabbath in one take. Not the song, the whole album. One take, start to finish. I'm gonna call bovine excrement: nobody records 100 takes of something. Nobody. Not even Lars Ulrich, who famously records take after take after take of his parts. Certainly not any of the legends you mentioned. Anyway, my comment was about me, my workflow and where I spend my time and energy. I don't know what the hell your problem is with me but instead of following me around all over the forums giving my posts the thumbs down, why don't you grow up and find some business of your own so you can go mind it
  3. Wow. I could never deal with all that. If I can't get it in 4 - 6 takes then I need to go back to the woodshed and practice some more.
  4. ❗❓ The obvious question here is: why so many?
  5. Delete everything that comes after where you want the song to end. Done.
  6. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR X3&language=3&help=DrumEditor.13.html
  7. He's not addicted. He can quit any time he wants to.
  8. The Eagles' Don Henley can sue me all he wants. It will cost him more than he'll ever be able to get out of me
  9. Oh, dear Jesus! Get a grip! There's probably 20 of them to pick from. Seems like a new one every week.
  10. Demons.
  11. Must not have been that important....
  12. Or replacing the USB cable.
  13. You just route the busses to the master.
  14. Bless your heart.
  15. Some of y'all would do well if you would learn how to separate your personal tastes from objective evaluation. I mean, I can't stand most of what passes for R&B or Country these days, but I think I can at least tell when it's well done.
  16. That and avail yourself of the documentation.
  17. Just because you've been doing it wrong for 20 years doesn't make it right.
  18. There's no reason to do a VST scan every time.
  19. Cakewalk is free....
  20. Whenever I paste, BbB operates as designed.
  21. Some overdrive is a whole different ball game than a Mesa Rectifier with too much gain and ungodly amounts of delay and reverb. He can try an electric guitar or he can keep fighting this.
  22. First, get rid of all the bloatware and crapware that Dell loaded onto your machine. Then: https://devblogs.microsoft.com/windows-music-dev/unofficial-windows-10-audio-workstation-build-and-tweak-guide-part-1/
  23. So, did you actually hear the difference or just see it? Most importantly, can anyone listen to a finished product (or even a half-baked one for that matter) and be able to tell what DAW was used? My money is on "no " Even if there was a noticeable difference, my original comment still stands: Vocal training and practice makes far more difference than chasing after gear and software.
  24. Voice training will be a much better investment. No DAW sounds any different than any other.
