You're limited by the number of Kontakt installations. While you technically can "slap the Kontakt version on every machine in the house," I'm just pointing out that the licensing of Kontakt doesn't actually allow more than three (and only if you have Komplete).
-
How does Lexicon compare to Exponential reverbs? I have Excalibur, Nimbus, PhoenixVerb, and R4.
-
I just checked. For the library in the OP: Kontakt 5.8.1 Full Retail (or later) Required. Kontakt full can be installed on 2 or 3 computers. https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/209544789--Installing-Native-Instruments-Products-on-a-New-Computer- I don’t see any indication that the license for Kontakt Player is any different, even if it’s free. Note that there’s no actually enforcement of this licensing, so technically, you can install more than the EULA allowed licensed number of instances.

Actually, with Kontakt you get two licenses unless you have Komplete in which case you get three licenses.

I have a number of UJAM drummers but am not getting the loyalty price. How does one qualify for that price?

Thanks for making me realize that I haven't installed my AudioThing plugins on my current laptop. Turns out I have three of the four in the bundle. Any thoughts on Things Rotor? Worth it for $7.25?

+1 on the free Steven Slate Drums. IK Multimedia MODO DRUM CS and MODO BASS CS are other good free VIs.

Thanks. I figured out that I have to find files of type "Guitar Pro" and not "Pro".
-
Did you try the UG subscription or are you talking about the free tabs? The subscription provides access to official tabs which I assume should be higher quality (but you can correct me).
-
Now that I have Guitar Pro … What sources of GP files do you use or recommend? I know of https://www.mysongbook.com/ and https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/, both of which have subscriptions (for $5 a month and $24.99 a month, respectively). Ultimate Guitar seems to be free but any GP files seems to take me to the subscription signup page. What are peoples’ experiences with these sites? Anyone using these or have other recommendations?

I did receive the license key this morning (the second day after ordering).

In the past, I've gotten the license keys immediately (within several minutes). This is the first time I've had to wait, and I'm still waiting.

Thanks for the deal notification and everyone weighing in. Purchased.

Add it to the cart. It should automatically apply a discount code. Try "group" to bring it down to $29.40. OP should probably mention this.

Thanks. Updated. Yay, M1 Native.

Thanks. Had both Minimoog Model D and Model 15 for iOS. The Mac versions were free downloads for me.

I like Nembrini's new sales price point. It used to be that the amp sales price was $39.99. Anyhow, I like this amp sim (I got it on iOS and then recently on the Mac). It's not a typical Fender and definitely not a Marshall. Note: I have to pad the input about 12 - 15 dB to make the presets sound right. Here are some links about the Fender Tone Master Custom Shop amp: https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/fender-tonemaster-whatcha-think.913018/ https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/had-a-fun-amp-jam-day-and-zinky-fender-shootout-prosonic-tone-master-today.1810631/ https://forum.fractalaudio.com/threads/fender-tonemaster-1990s-fender-custom-shop.159559/

Thanks for the link. Turns out I have four: IK Multimedia Black 76, Pulsar Audio Smasher (I had forgotten to install it on my latest computer, but now installed), Native Instruments VC 76 (in GR6), and Plugin Alliance Lindell 7X-500. I should probably learn how to use what I have (since I can't yet tell the difference). Now, I know what compressors do and basically how to use them (from live audio), but I don't know when to use this vs. other types of compressors. Any pointers on that?

If you have any projects that use the old version, you can keep the plugin installed so you can reload old projects. If you don't ever need to use the old version, then you can uninstall.

I’m glad Kontakt 6 was updated rather than require an upgrade to Kontakt 7. Guitar Rig 6 has also updated to be M1 Native. However, I’m disappointed there haven’t been any additional amps available since the release of GR6, AFAIK.
