Of course. The error is the standard memory violation: c0000005. Seen one ... Changing the Exception Severity just makes Cakewalk blow it off but TT EZD3 still crashed with the violation. There is something wrong with the new EZD3. Who's fault it is is pending the finger pointing session. EZD 1 and 2 still work fine.

I am getting a crash of EZD3 trying to install it in an empty project. If hangs up CW if I try and install it on an existing track. Dump file is 6.2MB so I can't include it. I submitted a ticket.

That's a good point. I forgot about that.

If they are not selected notes they will be grayed out. You can still edit them though. For a test, go to track view and select the clip. The notes in Piano Roll should now be highlighted and not gray. If you scroll away from those selected notes in the clip, they will be gray.

We ran it on an HP3000 ported to MPE. I wanted to port it to PC Fortan 77 but it used the EXEC function and I didn't know how to deal with it at the time. I too have the original source code. The hotkey solution solved my request.

I only see Split disappear when I have numerous take lanes and have them open and I then try to split the main window. If take lanes are open, you have to split the take itself in it's lane. Collapse the takes and Split will reappear for the main window for that track. Automation shouldn't affect Split. I split with automation all the time.

If checked, what I've found is that (it appears) Windows will attempt to take control of the interface even if nothing appears to be asking for control and causes glitches and noise spikes. I never got the impression Cakewalk would get exclusive control. It's like it works backwards from what I expect. Maybe the developers can shed some light on this.

I think it's the EMT stereo plate (without the weight!). In the advanced drop down there are more controls. At the same time the Melda convoluted reverb and even Breverb have some good plates.

I'll watch for any problems. Good investigative work! For me the issue was happening in prior versions so this is a curious problem.
