  2. Hey Folks, surely already posted 1000 times... I have a quiet guitar input signal (quiet power, guitar, no pedals etc) directly into RME PciE card. Only when turning on (any) ampsim I get audible noise and couldn't get a good noise gate setting (Amplitube). Tried to get a track with just the noise sound (by cloning the guitar track), then by inverting phase trying to remove all the noise....but didn't succeed yet getting the clone being silent. Just looking for some alternatives.

  10. dont have a guide or list to diagnose, but I would first check settings on 'my computer' sound devices, and then check the settings in Cakewalk. if your CPU meter in Cakwalk is showing high load, that could be a point to start checking. You could find a lot of info through Google, sorry I don't have time to guide you through. good luck
  11. Mr Torture, I have a 10 year old budget Medion desktop that runs perfect on high sample rates, even at the lowest buffer size. Maybe it's not the computer itself, or just 1 component that's causing the prob. For a start I would disable '64 bit engine' and check settings in Sonar, fe. try cache reading en/disable, etc. Also you could dowload a free latencymon software tool, that might show you what the problem is.
  12. I have these, sound nice without fatigue, I don't turn them up loud that is. Don't expect tons of clarity, detail and imaging but it's really a nice sounding speaker with good portion of bass. Just my 2 cents.
  13. https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/bass-gitarre-alembic-serie-i-ssb-stanley-clarke-typ-elektrisch/1940378205-74-1798 your chance to become a Bapu..
  14. Hugh haves 2 computers with each 2 monitor outs, can add 4 monitors directly to them (simples). Then update computer/software/app settings to display the stuff you want on each monitor, possibly there's some (free) monitor manager software (once figured out, simples). Bapu plectrum yes ? oboy oboy oboy
