MYOB! ?seriously I will eat anything. Even the Donners would have told me to go easy.

This was wonderful. Love the panning. And the touches of higher strings with little fills here and there. Whichever instrument is the bass, I'd bring that up just a hair. so 9.9 out of 10! cheers, -Tom

Super, ya? Of course Walter/Wendy leap to mind. Your version has those super clear vibraphone leads. I bet you had to play with the midi volumes a ton. Well done! cheers, -Tom

Wavestation lives. Long live Wavestation. It's 1993 again. The Korg Collective. Resistance is futile. No cowbell. Just Tinebell. nice job on a smooth composition. -Tom

From personal experience, this is the one that eventually breaks the band up. -
Yes I did, and I haven't installed it yet because of it. Yet!

I was gonna offer up a snarky "oh, first world problems!!!" . . . but actually that does look pretty effed up. My condolences.

Michelle Williams' desperate cry for help?

Well, here's a different view. This turn of events is just capitalists doing capitalism. Discovery built up its own music library, so they could save money and not have to shell out for unique, individualized music for their shows? It's a low blow to strip out the original, royalties required music, and replace it with stock library music. Its also pretty much the "vertical integration" from Rockefeller 101. The same capitalist system that required, for a while, that composers actually be paid. For a while. And then, apparently, shed like extra baggage jettisoned off a ship. Will the Discovery-watching public, in their dwindling numbers, ever organize angry boycotts because the bumper theme they heard in Cash Cab is noticed as identical to the ending credits of Battlebots: Resurrection ? for interesting reference, here's a link to all the show's the discovery channel is making. I gotta say, most of them look pretty awesome: https://go.discovery.com/tv-shows And as show music goes, a lot of the stuff I've heard on these shows us quite good indeed! I know that these composers have been counting on the royalties, in some cases, for their retirement income. So this latest development sucks for sure. Too bad music is so contractually ephemeral.

Cool, afflatus is quite the bargain basement at 749 or sumpin? Krazy!

Care to redo mine? Think of all the money you'd save? ? Sounds like you are happy with your new setup, congrats!

Agreed. But I already have 3 other reverbs that I actually use. I will dutifully dload it anyway, because my parents grew up in the Great Depression, when there were no jobs, movies were a nickel, and you couldn't even find a vst plugin to buy.
-
Kinda dumb q, but could anyone say what other reverb this freebie reminds you of? Just wondering, trying to avoid duplication if I can. I know, it's like I'm asking "is this green more or less greenier than my other greens" ?

David! Don't go gettin' all misty! But seriously, thanks for the great comment. There is real emotion in this, I agree. So glad you liked it. I have passed these comments along to the author.

thanks Martsave martin! thanks, Kloon! Yes, thanks, the simplicity is heartfelt and glad it came across as such! Thanks for the listen!

Thanks Gary! I passed along your comments to the youngsters . . . Yes, my kid wrote lyrics and melody, and sang it. I added some computer fluffery and played piano. There was a very fast time schedule on this so we both played the guitar in through a keyboard, a couple of OTS guitars, Dracus I think, and a Studio Nylon if I remember. Bass was the excellent AmpleSound Acoustic Bass. I think I added maybe one arrangement idea along the way. Pretty fun project! thanks for the comments.
